We are avid bird watchers and have wanted to make this trip...

We are avid bird watchers and have wanted to make this trip for 2 years! It did not disappoint! We are planning on returning again. We also visited the Museum of the Gulf Coast. It was fantastic! The biggest challenge in this area(and surrounding areas) are the hotels. Very poor reviews! Just don't know where to stay! 🫤

The front staff was amazing and very helpful. Loved the size of the room and bed was decent. Air conditioning was perfect. Continental breakfast was good for the variety of cereal and waffles they had. Loved the snacks from front desk. Loved the convenience of lots of stores and food near hotel. Parking was good. Great size tv and movie options. Liked the fridge and stove.

everything. seriously everything. cold ac, everything is clean, hot water, amazing water pressure. after a long day in the Texas heat and 3 days of driving from San Diego, this place beat the last two hotels we stayed at by miles. it’s so close to a handful of good spots and a gas station across the street.
