Oshkosh is a great big little town and has a lot to offer - the Winnebago Lake is large and beautiful and the Fox River is well kept up and the people are kind. There is a wide variety of food and drink and museums and it's a college town.

We had such a great weekend eating (fabulous restaurants),...

We had such a great weekend eating (fabulous restaurants), enjoying the Rooms in Bloom show at the Paine Art Center, shopping in and around Oshkosh. We learned about other events we hadn't known about and can't wait for a follow up stay in the summer and again at Christmas time!

This was our fourth or fifth stay to visit our college...

This was our fourth or fifth stay to visit our college student. Great renovations to the downtown area, nice farmers' market, easy access to the lake and the walk-way along the river, and great restaurants throughout the city. This last visit included a stop at the small but well-loved zoo, which is free to visit.

Our stay was only 2 nights so we didn’t have the opportunity to see much of Oshkosh. We did have time to walk Main Street & visit many of the wonderful shops. We will make a point to see more of the town on our next visit!

We love Oshkosh, mostly because we used to live here and you...

We love Oshkosh, mostly because we used to live here and you can't beat the area or the people. The Paine is a jewel, and the lakes are beautiful. Also the shopping district is fantastic as well as the farmer's market. A great place to visit.

Oshkosh is a mecca for aviation enthusiasts as the home of...

Oshkosh is a mecca for aviation enthusiasts as the home of EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and its huge annual airshow every July. For the rest of the year, the EAA Museum is a great spot to visit, and weather permitting, you can hop a ride in an open-air cockpit biplane for a reasonable price, as well as have your kids go up in a small airplane.

There is good comments to give: The noise between room is excellent and staff are awesome. I went on the day of a Thursday night Packer game and the price was the same for other nights for a room. All of the Hotel is 4x more expensive. So I owe the hotel a huge thank you for this night. The breakfast was good with no complaints. I owe them a bunch of appreciation for these good things. Other reservations for individual who stayed at the hotel were great.

The hotel is currently being refurbished and having stayed here on many occasions over the past 8 years, I can say that the work to-date has made a vast improvement. The rooms are so much more modern and very comfortable. I am looking forward to the completion of the public areas, the plans for which look very impressive,

Location was great, very clean, didn’t get a chance to check out the whole place as we were in the area for a wedding. Lobby was great and the staff was friendly as we checked in. All areas of the hotel that we were in was very clean.
