The breakfast was OK, a choice of cereals, Cheerio's, something else I cannot remember-No Bran flakes - there was oatmeal If you wanted it. A choice of muffins, bagels, yoghurts, etc etc. The coffee was from a machine and was awful!

    Nice little town, some good spots to eat or drink beer.

    Nice little town, some good spots to eat or drink beer. To us, the most important appeal was the location, as we spent those 2-3 days visiting the Starved Rock State Park, a magnificence of nature. Too bad the boat trips on the Illinois river had just closed for the season!

    Everything was fab! Neat, clean, tasteful, modern, comfy. This hotel was an unexpected delight, esp. compared to some of the dated & frumpy places we have stayed in recently at great cost... The room was clean & comfortable, the linen, bed & bathroom all very good. The breakfast was simple, but excellent. The staff were amazing. Thank you.
