The history of this hotel is featured very nicely in every detail. At the same time, the house comes at today's standards of comfort. That we shared a bathroom with one other room did not matter at all since the bathroom is very nice and kept clean. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. (The claim in one comment by another user that rooms measure only 7 m2 is misleading. Rooms are generally spacious enough.)

The lodge is well kept, the room is clean and spacious and the facilities work properly. Good location, easy access to restaurants, coffee shop and market. Only non-smoking rooms, which I personally loved. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was really clean, it was just the perfect place to relax and visit Mt. Rainier. The hosts were amazing, they always answered our questions and concerns. We fell in love with all our trip and our stay here helped a lot. We definitely will come back!

Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels in the kitchen, and also for showers and the hot tub. The hot tub, excellent after a day of skiing, and it's right outside the door. The level 2 EV charger made keeping my car charged each day easy. Great location for skiing at White Pass.

Very Happy. This was a lovely little place to spend some time with loved ones. Wildlife frolicking. Location is great. House is quiet, clean, light and airy. Close enough SEATAC airport to get to a same day flight out and Mt Rainier for hiking. The hot tub was clean and fully functional. Kitchen is pretty stock, but recommend bringing cooking oil. Grill worked great and easily accessible. Packwood Brewery!!! Tina and Bruce. Everything closes super early. They hooked me up with food well after closing due to a medical condition. Heads up: No stores except basic mini type marts. I regret not stopping in Enumclaw or Centralia for a real grocery store. Restaurants close by 8ish.(Go to the Packwood Brewery. Family owned, super nice and got me food well after closing the kitchen!) The driveway super steep and rocky. My Nissan Altima struggled unless we got good speed which kicked up rocks and it sounded bad

Cute small town, didn't get much time in town, ate dinner there, the food was pretty good, the coffee at the little mobile drive through was amazing, the other sit down one in town was just ok if that- great scones though.

It was a good location for Mt Rainier.

It was a good location for Mt Rainier. We usually stay inside the park but we were unable to on this trip. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The only downside was road noise. There is a restaurant within walking distance that serves from 7 to 5.

Packwood is a small town--only about 350 people.

Packwood is a small town--only about 350 people. Not much to see, but we came there to sleep and go to Mt. Rainier, so we were okay with everything. We had coffee and pastries at Mt. Goat Coffee that was good, but average.

Packwood is small but has a decent size grocery store and quite a few dining options , we ate at Cliff Droppers,their burgers were excellent. Packwood’s location was of most value for us , easy drive ,good road to enter Mt.Rainier Park from Stevens Canyon or White River entrance All we did here was hiking among beautiful scenery of national park 😀

Cute little gateway town full of outdoor enthusiasts passing through. Very small, but all walkable with a fun coffee shop, brewery, ice cream truck, & mercantile. More often than not, you get the chance to see the resident elk wandering around town.

Shooting pool with my family in the Blue Spruce Bar, great food and staff, Nova was a great waitress so helpful and fun. Lovely outside area at Packwood Brewery, good beer and food. Loved the Wapati wandering around the town. Great general store and lovely staff at checkout. Perfect location to drive to Mount St Helens and Mount Rainier. Maybe take the N25 up to Windy Ridge Mount St Helen’s, N26 is a rough road so don’t use it.

Location of the Packwood city is absolutely genius. The hotel itself is little bit outside the city but still relatively close. It's clean, personal was really helpful. I am absolutely certain that I'll comeback again when I am going to revisit the Mt. Rainier. Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams.
