This was an absolutely wonderful space, lovely appointed room and beautiful yard, great location not far from the beach and Paia, and lots of vegan options around.

Puu Koa Palms vacation rental has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Haiku, 2625 feet from Haiku Park. Nice place to stay. Location was perfect, close to the Paia town with tons of great restaurants and beautiful beaches. It was a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the upstairs unit and really liked it. We had two balconies, the room was full of light and big enough. Communication with the property manager was very easy. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. We hope to come back there. Owners are so kind and helpful. The perfect place to stay!!
We liked that we were in a small hotel in a small 'touristy' town. The location is almost ideal for travel to Hana and the National park. The unit was spacious and more than adequate for short stays. There is no TV in the unit which was fine with us. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and we had breakfast there but it is open into the early evening. The small town is full of "cute" stores and other casual eating choices with just a short walk. The only drawback is the traffic backup at the single traffic light. It can take 5-10 minutes to get thru the light.
Excellent shopping and restaurants, beautiful beaches. Mana health foods was excellent for those who don't want to spend the money going out for every meal. They have a huge variety of food including a hot bar. SO many great shops, and cafe's too.
Paia is a great place to stay one night before your drive the road to Hana. Other than that, there really isn't much to do in the town. There are better beaches in Maui. We stayed 3 nights and could've done just one and been fine.
Great little town. A very cool relaxed vibe throughout. Lots of places to eat and drink with great food throughout. The Flatbread cafe for pizza and the RocknBrew bar for a sensational range of beers on tap
Great base for exploring the island but rental car is a must. Loved the artsy vibe and small town feel. Lots of shopping in small stores if that is what you enjoy and choice of excellent, laid back restaurants. For groceries (and organic food) go to Mana; the store is very reasonable. Close to good surfing beaches and lots of hiking. If visiting, park you car at the entrance of town and walk.
Paia is a good place to stay for a couple of nights so you can spend one day driving up to the summit of Haleakala volcano and then you can drive on to Hana. Don't miss the breakfast at Paia Bay Coffee house or dinner at Flatbread Pizza, both on Hana Highway!
