The town of Panguitch is over rated.

The town of Panguitch is over rated. The motel wasn't as good as I expected and the area seemed to be run down. The restaurant we ate at was terrible. I doubt that I'd stay at the motel again and would not go to the same restaurant again. Most of the gas stations had their pumps roped off. It was very inconvenient.

Nice little town. Could use a few more places to eat. A lot of motels to stay in and only 22 miles from Bryce Canyon. The people in the community are very nice. Panguitch lake is nice sized and beautiful.

Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people.

Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. My husband joked if he were younger, we would move there!

The restaurant's are excellent.

The restaurant's are excellent. The locals are all friendly and very accommodating. Just a quick trip to any of the local National Parks or Panguitch lake. Fun shops antique and thrift shops on main street.

Small town, close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National...

Small town, close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. There is a small historic main street area that is charming, but limited options for coffee, breakfast, and dinner. On Sunday, virtually all restaurants are closed.

The motel is less than half an hour from the entrance to...

The motel is less than half an hour from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, and its price is very reasonable compared to the closest accommodations (which we've stayed at three or four times in the past). The room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped; they serve a more than good breakfast; and, above all, the service is excellent.

A great home away from home! It had absolutely everything in it for a comfortable stay. Lots of attention to details in the house, great sitting areas, dining, everything needed in the bathroom. Fully, really with everything , equipped kitchen. Excellent location in a city, near Bryce canyon national park, quiet, although by the road. Two bedrooms, in a wooden cabin, very cosy. Good air-conditioning, also had ventilation. The hosts are so welcoming!

Purple Sage was a great spot to stay if going to Bryce Canyon. Not far from there at all and much cheaper than in Bryce Canyon itself. I stayed one night here and one in Bryce and I should have just done two at Purple Sage! Much better value and so clean! Honestly one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The town itself doesn't have much, that's ok as its so close to the canyon and great trails.

Initial impressions not so good, look awful at first glance. But the property, although old and dated, had well maintained grounds, and the room had everything needed. About as good as it could be without major renovations. This was at Panguitch in Utah about 20 or so miles from the Bryce Canyon. A nice country town with most facilities.

A cute cabin, big, quite, nice bed. location is 50 yards from a great breakfast place and a great dinner one. There are only 2 in Panguitch, so they are not hard to find. Location was excellent and good value. Its just 22 miles to Bryce Canyon.
