The breakfast the ride to the airport

I booked the non-smoking room but they gave us two smoking room. The building is all smoke. It was so terrible for my asthma children.

Breakfast was good, location is convenient for those who is interested in Columbia River Gorge. Free parking is big plus. And we liked spacious room and wide beds.

The staff was amazing!!! My sisters and I had just returned from a 16 day Caribbean cruise, it was close to midnight night, we were exhausted, they helped us get a meal and some adult drinks to wash it down…

Breakfast was a typical fast microwave egg omelet, packaged chunk potatoes, and paper thin sliced bacon. Waffles were available as well.

The drapery in our room could not completely close and so the lighting outside was visible. The room was clean, however, there is a smell of human sweat that seems to be present no matter what cleaning is done. It's not just this hotel. I notice it in other properties too.

We liked the room and the beds.

Quiet, convenient, comfortable bed, great breakfast, very pleasant staff.

I liked the fact that there was a shuttle bus that operated 24/7. I also liked the indoor pool where I could swim laps in the morning. And there were enough breakfast options that I was able to eat a very low gluten breakfast. And the staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was presented well. Reception was inviting. Staff were outstanding. Rooms were fabulous. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. We will stay again and will recommend.

McMenamin's is an experience that eveyone should enjoy at least once! The historically preserved property was restored with funky lighting and art that celebrated its history. We spent hours walking up and down the hallways of the old school looking at art and memorabilia. We got in late from a flight and went to the restaurant close to 10 pm and they still served us. The ciders are especially luscious and the warm brownie with caramel and ice cream is to die for! We checked out the theater and were sorry we missed the movie. A wonderful and memorable experience.

Left too early so didn't have breakfast - but loved the super fast and friendly check in - on the way out I just grabbed a free coffee and we were done. Quick and easy place to stay on our road trip.

The room was larger than expected. Even though they were remodeling, everything was kept clean. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful checking in and out.
