This hotel is one mile from downtown Pine River, in the Whitefish Chain of Lakes region. The hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rodeway Inn Pine River rooms include a microwave and refrigerator. First comment is it is not a new motel. But we we knew that before we made a reservation for three nights. We have stayed in probably well over 100 motels, hotels, BnBs, condos and timeshares over the past 50 years. We are now past our mid-60s and have stayed in flea-bag places to the A++ units throughout the world. The room, sheets, pillows, carpet, bathroom, sinks were very clean. The room was well lit. Spacious and well lit mirror by the sink for shaving and makeup. Plenty of counter space. We were on the ground floor and it was quiet. The outside was clean and secure. The office was open 24/7 and the breakfast was nothing extravegant but for the price of the room very adequate. Waffles, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, milk, juices, toast, jams, sweet rolls, coffee and tea. And the staff was friendly, polite, and offered to do whatever they could to make our three night stay enjoyable. We will be in the Pine River area again and will definitely stay here again.

Quarterdeck Resort features Restaurant, free bikes, a garden and bar in Nisswa. Among the various facilities are a private beach area and a ski pass sales point. Our room was warm and cozy. We went with intentions of staying one night and stayed for another night. The view out of our lake facing room was beautiful even in the middle of the winter. We would highly recommend Quarterdeck for a nice winter get away. A special shout out to Quinn and her great customer serve, which made our stay exceptional.
