This hotel was really nice. Great decorations in the lobby and rooms, and I really liked the interesting room layout, with the bed's headboard up against the wall dividing the bedroom and bathroom, and the bed facing out toward the windows. It was definitely different than your standard hotel room! Everything felt modern and stylish. The bed was also really comfortable, the curtains kept the room sufficiently dark, and the shower had good water pressure. I liked that there was a little food pantry area in the lobby where you could buy snacks or cold breakfast (cereal/oatmeal), since the hotel's hot breakfast was not included in the rate. The bar and pool area also looked really nice, though we didn't take advantage of either. It was nice to not have to pay for parking, and we never had any issue with finding a space. The hotel is located right on the freeway so it's not like it is in a scenic location with anything you can walk to, but it is directly across the freeway from The Shops at Legacy, so it is a less than 5-minute drive to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. I don't often have reason to visit Dallas but if I were to ever again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

I live in Plano so I really enjoy the city.

I live in Plano so I really enjoy the city. It’s distinctly compartmentalized. The west end has upscale restaurants and shopping while the east is older but has what locals know and consider as convenient to navigate everyday life without much commute.

Our stay in Plano was enjoyable because we have family that live there and they took us to the Whiskey Cake. My husband and I enjoyed the drinks and Whiskey Cake own Whiskey Cake that was worth every penny we paid. We introduced our cousins to the AAU tournament that we came to play in with our granddaughter’s team. Our cousins came for one game. After the game we went to Pure Green and it was our cousins first time enjoying Pure Green smoothies. Our family of ten loved our time in Plano. To cap it off our cousins went home and decided to come back and watch our second game. We believe that our cousins son we be joining an AAU team in Plano. Thanks Plano for the hospitality, Matilda and Vernel Nicholas

Getting around town was super easy with the help of Google...

Getting around town was super easy with the help of Google Maps. Enjoyed walking around in the downtown historic district. We had wonderful frozen drinks and personal pizza at 32 Degrees Roof Top Bar. Thoroughly enjoyed the live music at Love and War Roadhouse, Plano. We also had fun shopping for Antiques, home decor items, and clothes. There was plenty of good things to buy!

Really good eats.

Really good eats. (LSA Burger, Newks, Chewys, Paleos, Brothers Pizza, In & Out, The Baked Bear) Much to do. (skating, shopping, driving, eating, clubs, events) Enjoyed the weather. (walked to some stores, grandscape) Saw some local businesses. (toms thumb)

Plano is very comfortable everyone everywhere had a very pleasent attitude. I experienced many multicultural places. Traffic was big city traffic so you will spend time driving. All food was excellent. If you get a chance go to Kenny's Burger Joint. And Daisy's. Also check out the Asian and Indian grocery and accessories stores in the area

Plano is located less than 10 miles outside of Dallas, and...

Plano is located less than 10 miles outside of Dallas, and is easy-traveling distance to both Love Field and DFW Airports. As with many suburbs in America, there are many local and chain restaurants, a WalMart, Target, and grocery stores. According to James, a fab Uber driver, Plano is one of the better burbs near Dallas to offer share-rides. What's even better is there are fun things to do in and around Plano as well as the proximity to Dallas. Popping downtown for a meeting, dinner, or drinks is easy. Happily, if you are entrenched at the Cambria, just about any food or drink delivery service you can think of do, in fact, delivery in Plano. Good if you want to avoid the heavy traffic around the area. An interesting FYI, the locals say Plano is in a bubble as it rarely rains in Plano but will instead rain in McKinney and the areas around while Plano stays dry much of the time. Enjoy your time in Plano. Wonderful people and shops.

Good sized room with the best firm beds that we have experienced in a long time. Nice breakfast options Very quiet room, able to sleep easily. Nice bathroom and shower. Guest laundry, very reasonable.
