Offering a garden, Lake Crescent Lodge is located in Olympic National Park on the shores of Lake Crescent in Washington State. Forks is 28 mi from the property. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. The historic lodge was wonderful. They did a good job organizing meals. They were limited to 25% of capacity. I would recommend making dinner reservations before arrival. We got last res of the night. I overheard some guests quite unhappy that they couldn’t have a sit down meal. The resort did make arrangements for take away meals so no one went hungry.
Located in Port Crescent in the Washington State region, Lord Carlton Country Manor House features a balcony and garden views. We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived early due to weather and our hosts were friendly and very accommodating. They have a lovely home. Our bed was comfortable, Wifi worked well, and we had the clean shared bathroom to ourselves. Of special bonus, there is a landing outside with a lovely view of the woods in the back, which was a great place to eat a light meal. Breakfast was provided and extensive. We were even greeted by a family of deer upon arrival!
Located in Port Angeles, 30 mi from Sol Duc Falls, Emerald Valley Inn provides accommodations with a restaurant and free private parking. The inn features family rooms. It is a lovely property - with a small open field that you can stroll through to look upon some woods. Very sweet for summer dusk strolls.
SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is set in Sooke, 14 mi from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Center and 1.9 mi from East Sooke Park. Free WiFi is available. All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. Such a peaceful place over an extended weekend and beautiful trails
Lake crescent is so beautiful it is rarely 80 degrees there and we were lucky enough to find a spot on the lake where we spent most of the day. Go early to find parking and a spot on the beach. We barely found a spot around the entire lake.
John was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Pretty location and a nice, quiet setting. My only real issue was that something set off my husband’s asthma. There was a bit of a musty smell, so perhaps some mold somewhere? Might not matter for most (it was fine for me) but those with allergies or asthma should probably stay somewhere else. I wish I had known at booking that the bathroom was shared and that payment was in cash only, but those weren’t deal breakers for me.
Inside home is very clean, presentation of towels was impressive as well as our rooms and even in the kitchen with food for breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the vegetation along drive back to the home . I feel it needed cut back more, like an extra couple of feet on both sides. Now that I found this nice place to stay, I would like to come visit this area more.
