This hotel in Portsmouth is located near Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center. It has a gym and an indoor saline pool. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. We walked to dinner. The hotel was right in the middle of everything and the staff was great. The room was huge and we loved it.
Located just 4 miles from downtown Portsmouth, this hotel features accommodation with full kitchen and 32’’ LCD TVs. The Fox Run Mall is less than 1 mile away. It was very well maintained and clean, the location was very comfortable and also close to shops for quick shopping, it is very secure which is a biggie for me. Have to have your room key to get into the main building and then into your room as well.
Conveniently located with easy access to Interstate 95, the Quality Inn Portsmouth is less than one mile from one of New England's largest water parks, Water Country. The front desk assistance with roadside/travel assist, great breakfast, everything was lovely after a disasterous winter travel experience.

We really love Portsmouth, the town and the people, small yet awesome! When COVID isn’t around we liked to take a boat ride around Portsmouth, then we enjoyed eating at Pocos and ice cream at Annabelles.
Like I said before, besides the unruly guests and the procedures that were not being followed the hotel was okay. I don't think they should have charged 173 or night when the staff wasn't even following the proper covid procedures that they put in place. They did remove the unruly guests but it took two and a half hours and was very disruptive to many rooms on the same floor as well as above and below that said floor.
The trip was good the best part was the beach being close but the place we stayed at was nothing but junkies staying there people bouncing balls off the walls all night long people trying to fight my family in the parking lot with our infant with us. The hotel was a joke no shampoo or soap or anything I would rather have spent $100 more dollars for some place that was nice to us the help was rude and ignorant and looked as though they were high. I will never go back to this hotel and my family travels ALOT!!!! I hope someone cleans that place up there was trash in the hall ways it was disgusting all the way around.
One of my favorite places on Earth-be sure to go to Four-tree Island and Prescott park. COVID changed it for this year, but in the summer there are outdoor movies at Prescott Park right near the flower gardens with fountains, etc. Just a completely breathtaking area. I recommend The Dolphin Striker or River House for food. Multiple Ghost tours or Isle of Shoals tours.
A great place to indulge in history, great food and local shops. Although we visited in late Feb (it's a seasonal area, so a lot of places were closed), we still managed to see a few things. With a car, the surrounding area is easy to explore - sandy beaches, shopping (Kittery), stunning scenery.
Overall the trip was amazing. Row 34 was our favorite spot for seafood and you have to check out the friendly toast for breakfast. Other than that the seafood was a little disappointing but the atmosphere and scenery on the water was great.
Excellent upgraded spacious room. Excellent expansive breakfast. Excellent coffee. Plenty of info about Portsmouth and where to go. Great customer service and no unexpected charges. Walking distance to everything downtown along the waterfront but you don't get the noise of the bar scene and restaurants. Highly recommend.
The location was perfect. The hotel was very wonderful with nice and warm decoration. It takes only 10 mins walk to downtown. The staff was very polite and kind. I would love to stay at Ale House Inn again for my next visit.
The inn is located on a quiet street and yet is within a 5 min walk from everything you want/need in downtown Portsmouth. It was immaculately clean, the clientele is quiet and respectful. Highly recommend.
Shuttle driver to and from the hotel and downtown Portsmouth was great. Recommended where to get the best seafood and dropped us at the door
The hotel was clean, comfortable and the rooms were recently updated. Breakfast was okay. Overall very good value for the cost.
I had a great room and the hotel was quiet. Also, very convenient location. And lovely pillows.
