If you like the outdoors there are plenty of beautiful...
If you like the outdoors there are plenty of beautiful trails and waterfalls -easy to intermediate.
It is a college town and not alot of stores or venues close by.
We ate at 3 bears Cafe on main st. For lunch
And took a 15 min ride to Jake's on the lake for dinner which is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful scenery & Great food.

Was just there to pick up our daughter and her belongings for end of school year.Last summer we visited for a few days and quite like the town.The river provides beautiful views and cool breeze,the park in town is lovely,facilities everywhere are nice.The main street has nice cafes,restaurants and shops....but right now it is in a good bit of disarray due to work on old sidewalksk

This is a nice place to visit if you are looking at colleges. As someone with a gluten allergy, I loved that most of the local restaurants had gluten free options on the menu, including a gluten free bakery in town.

It was a most interesting historic town.
It was a most interesting historic town. It was of personal interest since a young education student is a waitress at our golf club. She mentioned that her boyfriend was on a full hockey scholarship at Clarkson. The Clarkson university campus is extremely beautiful . The young waitress is a remote student and is an exchange with a Canadian university. She said the program is outstanding and she will have her degree in less than a year.

I've visited Potsdam many times over the last 10 years and...
I've visited Potsdam many times over the last 10 years and have always found something new to do! There are good food options, lots of outdoor activities and the town is located close enough to Canada, the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain to allow for wonderful day trips.

The location was perfectly located within the town. The staff at the hotel, especially at the front desk, were very helpful and kind. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.
