These hotels in Princeton are highly rated by couples: Hampton Inn Princeton, Courtyard by Marriott Princeton, and Crowne Plaza Princeton, an IHG Hotel.
Crowne Plaza Princeton, an IHG Hotel, Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, and Homewood Suites by Hilton Princeton got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Princeton.
We loved the room. It was "J" shaped which gave us plenty of room to move around and lots of window light. The pictures on the walls were of special places in Princeton. The staff were very friendly and we felt like they were glad that they could serve us. The breakfast had several choices and lots of everything. There was free parking close to the building.
We found the area easy to get around by car and simple to find destinations for walking, eating and shopping. We visited the NJ Grounds for Sculpture which is an incredible Garden and Sculpture museum. Art is both in the garden and in enclosed gallery spaces. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there and will return.
The hotel is about 15 mins from Princeton University and Nassau Street where there are great places to dine and shop like Dinky Bar, Milk and Cookies, The lavender farm and the blended spoon. The Hotel is fully stocked with the essentials for a long stay. It is also located near groceries and restaurants. We stayed for four nights to visit nearby colleges. The location was perfect for us to take a train from Princeton Jct. to NYC we were there in an hour using NJ Transit. Also travelled to Philly on another day. Its safer and more economical than staying in those cities
The staff at this Westin is great !! Very helpful and so nice . The rooms were very clean , great size too ! We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here ! Most importantly to us it’s pet friendly!!
Came for senior graduation events and graduation. Lots of restaurant selections, shopping for everything within 1-2 miles. Great location, but you do need a car where our hotel was located (near interstate). But hotel in town you will not need a car.
I’m going to start out by saying that I hate hotels! Hate, so I’m definitely pickier than most when it comes to my reviews. I’ll start with what was great! Her name was Bobbi! She was the evening/weekend front desk employee, and she was just fabulous! Super helpful, friendly, and kind! Without her our stay would have been atrocious! That said, the room had a broken refrigerator, but Bobbi offered us to move rooms or use the main refrigerator. I chose the main refrigerator since we were staying overnight for a swim meet. Our fan/temperature control was broken! I realized so late at night that I dealt with it, but that was not in working order either. I wonder if it had to do with our discounted room rate!?? My sheets also had a FOOT PRINT on them! GAG! Again Bobbi came to the rescue and had the sheets changed immediately; however, being someone who is so turned off to start when it comes to hotels, this was HUGE in my negative rating, HUGE. There’s nothing worse than thinking the sheets were likely not changed. Especially given the pandemic. I’m not sure I’d stay here again, as there’s many other options in the area. Altogether I wouldn’t recommend to the picky people, but for the average person I’m sure it would be fine. Just check the sheets!
I've stayed at this hotel many times; it's very pleasant, but of course with COVID many of the amenities are shut, which makes things a bit difficult (in particular, there is no food service available, except for a sort-of vending machine in the lobby). But the staff are great. And I appreciated the free wifi in the room during the pandemic.
We stayed in this hotel before and liked its convenient location. The services have improved since last summer (probably with the relaxation of coronavirus restrictions). You can now buy breakfast and coffee from a small Starbucks outlet. The lobby set up has small seating areas, which are quite cozy.
Property is extremely dated and I’m sure it’s green credentials are appalling. I was told after I had been there for 3 days that Housekeeping only attended the rooms on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The only good thing was it’s proximity to restaurants and downtown Princeton.
One bedroom suite had everything we needed for a stay with a toddler: it was spacious, had a kitchen, a bath, a separate bedroom and a crib (pack’n’play) available. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of extra towels. 10 min drive to Princeton, free parking.
The hotel is great! Everything was new, comfortable and clean. Stuff were super friendly and helpful. Only minus for me was breakfast witch due to COVID was in boxes, not hot, but coffee was good though.
Bed was comfortable Staff was very friendly The area was quiet, ducked off, and safe Everything that you needed was a 7 minute drive away from the hotel
Princeton
Incredible stay. Hospitality at its best. Quaint, cozy house in excellent location. True experience from interior, surroundings, host, breakfast. Impeccable.
We only bought breakfast for our daughter at the hotel .we thought it was pricey for what it was and wasn’t what we really wanted.
Big rooms comfortable bed great water pressure in the shower honestly best hotel I have stayed in a while highly recommend
The Hotel facilities and location. Very quiet and in the middle of the forrest, but not too far from downtown by car.
