Alpine Lodge in Red Lodge has barbecue facilities and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Lovely log cabin style room. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and we enjoyed the delicious coffee & breakfast on the patio. Would definitely recommend. Sandra & Wayne Dawson - Western Australia
Two Bears Inn Bed & Breakfast has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Red Lodge. The accommodations features a hot tub. We stayed for three days in a very comfortable log cabin, where we did not miss anything in kitchenesss, bathroom and living room as well. The interior is well suited for the cabin. We liked the very good heating, when we came home from hiking and it was already getting cold (even a little icy in the early morning). It is a peaceful, lovely place, where we slept well. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast together with the other guests and the interesting talks with them and the host. I can absolutely recommend this inn. We liked hiking in the nearby Custer State Park, when the weather was to bad for the higher mountains of the Yellowstone NP. In Red Lodge we liked the interesting Carbon County Museum with interesting historic expositions e.g. about the coal mining and native americans in the area.
The 4 or 5 blocks of downtown offer quite a bit to enjoy including restaurants, bars and shops. The friendly locals do their best to make your visit fun. When the sun goes down, as in many mountain towns, It's nice and peaceful- great for us early risers whom wish to make the most of our days! Red Lodge has to be one of my favorite mountain towns to visit, the place isn't uptight or snooty. Loads of great things to do and see near by. I look forward to returning!
We stayed as a quick stop on our road trip, but would love to stay longer. Red Lodge has very little franchise businesses so everything was unique. We only had time for a jog along the creek and a good cup for coffee but could see we would come back for all the outdoor adventures the area has to offer. From Red Lodge we drove the Beartooth highway to Yellowstone and Bozeman. Amazing scenery.
We love Red Lodge - have stayed many times. We love the Italian restaurant! We also ate at Bogarts and the Breakfast place. We walked around town on Friday - it was not super busy so great day to enjoy ourselves!
Cute little town. Found some neat little shops. The candy store across the street from Lotions and Potions took you back in time! Loved the chocolate covered cinnamon bears! Had a great steak/salmon dinner at Carbon Steak House on the main street, ate outside. Appreciated the public restroom at True Value!!!! Parking was more challenging in the evening. Early the next morning it was easier to find parking on the main St. Beartooth pass, coming into Red Lodge was amazing!
The accommodations in the cottage are excellent… Idyllic setting, comfortable and very inviting. The hosts ensure that you feel right at home, provide a scrumptious breakfast and share lots of local information about how to enjoy the area. We heartily recommend this place.
Loved the town of Red Lodge. It is a tourist destination, so many of the tourist gift shops/t-shirt places. We dined at Bogart's for dinner and the bartender/food were both excellent. had morning breakfast at Prindy's - again excellent.
