United StatesWe were absolutely surprised how much we loved this hotel stay! We picked it based off the ratings and I’m glad we did. My other family stayed somewhere else and we’re unhappy. Their breakfast here is AMAZING. It’s SUPER clean. The staff is SO wonderful and helpful. We didn’t have ANY complaints. The pool is a tad on the smaller side and it’s freezing cold-BUT, it was over 100 degrees outside so it wasn’t too bad. The beds were average in comfort but the rooms and the setup were very cool. We would highly recommend a stay here and we will stay again!

Our stay was comfortable and stress free thanks to the cleanliness and well furnished Shed. Having no phone service was annoying but The Shed supplied WiFi, so that was nice. It made up for it. The only thing we didn't like was the condition of the Jacuzzi. We couldn't use it.

Redding is a perfect base for a trip in Northern California, within driving distance of the Trinity Alps (where I went), Lassen National Park and Mount and Lake Shasta. The town itself does not have much to offer, but it has a decent seleection of good reasonably priced restaurants.

We spent the week at Lake Shasta. We have visited Redding many times, it has all the big stores for supplies and everything you need, and especially In n Out Burger which we love. The weather was great for our lake activities.

Redding is a very nice place to visit with lots to do.
Redding is a very nice place to visit with lots to do. The Sacramento River trail is very scenic and a great place to ride bikes on. All of the amenities at Sun Dial Bridge are worth visiting. Also there are great mountain biking trails in the area.

This was our second stay here - this time, we stayed in Room...
This was our second stay here - this time, we stayed in Room 123 from 5/30 to 6/2/2025. $307 for three nights. The rooms are large; the bed was very comfortable and the shower hot and strong. The Smart TV works – don’t bother with the DirecTV! Love the to-go breakfast: Jimmy Dean sandwich, yogurt, granola bar, a fruit and coffee, plates and utensils. The refrigerator/freezer and air conditioning are all super cold. The clientele appeared to be mostly travelers, not residents. A couple gripes: the property’s ice machine is still out of order, and the floor needed a mop (the shower pic is the dirt that came off my bare feet). There’s a Dollar Tree just up the road and ice is $2/bag. Grade: A.

I wanted to explore the downtown area, but there's not much to it. I did luck out on seeing the North State Symphony at the theater, tho that was unplanned. There are two cafes, Theory and Evergreen, both full of ego-driven Important People talking on their phones and computers. Fortunately wasn't hot when I was there, though it can get HOT.

I parked in front of my room, making unload/reload easy. Comfortable bed. Shower had great pressure with very hot water. Fridge with separate freezer a nice bonus since I travel with ice packs. Very little noise. Good WiFi. My new goto stop between San Francisco and Portland.

Staff was cheerful, helpful, and attentive. Room was large, well appointed with lots of usb ports. Bathroom was large with a amazing walk in shower. Furnishings were new and modern. Lots of restaurants in the area.
