Set in Rockland, 250 Main Hotel. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service. The property offers city views, a terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Rooms were wonderful, staff were outstanding and we were made to feel welcome the minute we arrived. Lobby had many fun things to do, views were great and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the interaction with the staff. Plan to return for certain!Thou
Located in Rockland in the Maine region, Honeysuckle Suite Apartment in Downtown Rockland provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The location was excellent. The apartment was a good size. The kitchen was the highlight - good for socialising.
Rockland's a really nice bit of coastal Maine. The walk to the lighthouse and the Farnsworth museum are great, as is the main street with all the restaurants and shops. It is pretty small so wouldn't recommend staying more than 2 nights at most.
We love visiting Rockland. It is small enough to be easily and completely accessible, yet it has a fabulous variety of activities available. We always find a combination of familiar/comfortable and new/exciting things to do! Don’t ever walk past a shop, bar, gallery or other venue that looks even remotely interesting. Walk in! You’ll be glad you did! We had dinner at an old favorite, Café Miranda, and drinks at a place we just happed upon, Luce Spirits. Both were fabulous and within easy walking distance down town.
The Motel was in a great location for either walking along the seaside or walking downtown. All the locals at all the restaurants and shops were very friendly . It was off season do APRIL is just a little cooler than later spring but we didn't go for the the scenery this time we went to visit family and grandchildren.
Awesome small town! My wife and adult kids enjoyed walking around the downtown area and enjoyed checking out several of the shops, restaurants, etc. Everybody we met was very friendly. We made a point to eat at the local restaurants as much as possible, after all, who comes to coastal Maine to eat at a chain restaurant? The meals were excellent at every restaurant that we chose, and all were within walking distance of our hotel.
We really enjoyed the location, walking distance to downtown and the harbor. The view from our room was so nice. We also loved hanging out at the firepit and lobby area. The HOT breakfast was great and so welcome back. Other hotels need to follow suit. The staff was professional and nice. I would say it was our favorite stay during our trip to Maine.
Great summer town. In winter it sleeps. Too many stores are closed. The Farnsworth museum is always a must. In the winter concentrate on eating lobster, fish chowder and if your really in the mood to indulge the fried seafood. Time your visit for an auction of antiques at Thompson Place Auctions nearby if you are into antiques. Or take a boat trip to Monhegan Island if it’s summer.
The front desk representatives were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view of the harbor and watching the ferry arrive/depart. The location was perfect for walking to Rockland and it was a short commute to Rockport. The room was clean and comfortable.
Rockland Talbot was amazing and exceeded all our expectations. Our room was excellent with great facilities- the fire in particular! Homemade pie, great breakfasts and friendly staff we’re all an added bonus to a lovely stay in Maine
Location was great! The room was large for a standard king room and nicely equipped. Bathroom was awesome. Rooftop area was really nice with view of the harbor. Breakfast was great!
