My husband, myself, my son and his family of five all came to Roseburg, OR to find housing for both families. E stayed at the Roseburg property and loved it. The rooms were clean, well stocked, the pool was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will recommend this property to others.
I did visit a wi Rey which was fun... but it was a stop on the way to a destination...and I probably would skip it next time...I had read about the area and the old downtown but I found it lack luster and depressed...there were other places I could have stopped.
We had a very pleasant time in Roseburg. We went for a swim meet and visited The Wildlife Safari. We also could not resist visiting Abacela winery which surprisingly was kid friendly. Finally we kept going back to the delicious Burrito Vaquero restaurant with their hand made tortillas and tasty dishes. We would love to go back and highly recommend it!
We enjoyed the people and places of Roseburg.. Thinking of this being on the list of a place to retire to. There were stores that we could buy affordable clothes. The restaurants were very reasonable priced.. Lee's Chinese was authentic and delicious.
A good place to stay for one or two nights if you want to visit the North Umpqua Forest, e.g., Toketee Falls. We travelled back to Portland along the Highway 101, seeing Florence, the Sea Lion Cave, and Heceta Head Lighthouse. In Roseburg, there is also a Wildlife Safari Park.
Small, quaint town. Not much to do but you get the feeling that it is quiet and safe. Wish there were more family activities (like go-carts or something). Along the I-5 corridor, and a great rest stop if traveling.
“Usually when you pay half price for a hotel.you get a run down half price room, not here beautiful room very clean staff is amazing. I will be staying here again.”
“The front desk was very very helpful when I had questions about the area or my room. The breakfast was very good for a hotel like this. It had real scrambled eggs and sausages. Many times for this price you are just offered hard-boiled eggs & toast and cereal. I will definitely come here again next year for my Roseburg Vineyard bike ride.”
“The bed was so comfortable, the room was quiet and the facility was clean. The breakfast that was supplied had lots of variety. The hotel was perfect for our stay.”
“Hotel was nice and met expectations for cleanliness and comfort.”
“The owners were very polite, and eager to make our stay pleasant. Though this was a much older hotel, they have obviously been trying to spruce things up and make things newer and more comfortable.”
