The hotel offers access to all varieties of outdoor activities. Enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, whitewater and paddle rafting and scenic bicycle paths along the Umpqua River. I was just looking for a value room for a family trip from Portland to Roseburg for Wild Safari, but they exceeded my expectations. Check-in staff was excellent, offering before being asked extra towels and blankets for our son (using sofa bed). The breakfast with waffles was an added bonus, better than just some muffins like I expected. All the staff that I saw and interacted with were just superb. Next time we make a trip to Wild Safari I know where to stay.

We also stayed at your Willows, California location the night prior to this stay and it was wonderful. The breakfast was great with scrambeled eggs, sausage, a hands-free pancake maker (really nice). The bathroom light was not working but, they volunteered a $30 price reduction. The room was clean and everything else worked. You should drop the Roseburg location as it doesn't live up to your usual standards !!
Friendly honest people. A blowout tire and triple AAA brought us to Les Schwabs in Roseburg. We had an odd-sized tire so we spent three wonderful days in the Roseburg Holiday inn. We rented a car from the local Chevy Dealer and set out to explore the town. It has a population of about 20,000 just large enough to have almost everything we wanted. Denny's was across the street we talked to a few friendly folks and ate good food. The thrift store was excellent, I was not eager to leave this town when our tire came in and was promptly repaired as promised. You Gotta Love this place and its people.
We are frequent travelers between California and Washington. We like to break up the long drive. Roseburg is a fabulous place to do that...it's close to Hwy 5 but not so close it's noisy. There are several restaurants..our favorite so far is Gino's Italian. The best part is the beautiful trail along the river...it's so nice to take a long walk and get some excercise before a long day's driving!
Roseburg is a great city. It's not far to go hunting, fishing or hiking. Great vacation spot for the outdoors people. The city does have some shopping, however it does not provide high end stores.
Growing up in Roseburg it is a great central location to visit parks like diamond lake and crater lake .. in the summers there is river rafting and concerts in the parks but year round you will want to explore the neighborhoods as they take you back in time with the amazing architecture .. it has changed a great deal but who doesn’t love exploring the past and present together.. you will love it Denny’s is across the way as you can see it from the hotel but we didn’t eat there as they seemed to be out of everything .. Abby’s Pizza is always a great place to eat with fireplaces a small Arcade and TVs of course .. restrooms are clean MENS AND WOMENS … my favorite view is walking along the river as they have many pathways to take a stroll and branches to sit on along the way .. oh and DUTCH BROTHERS IS WAY BETTER THAN STARBUCKS .. 😉 there is a winery open for tastings though we did not partake .. just mentioning it .. signed Tamber , Randy’s wife😊
It was a dark scary place for out o;f town visitors like us. We did not like it at all, the appearance of the building, the inside that was understaffed and had people milling around in the lobby. I would not stay at this hotel again. No breakfast, cold floors and drab looking room.
Roseburg
Frankly it’s a motel. The only good thing is location (close to I-5) therefore good for breaking journey if one is on a long distance drive, like in our case. But the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. They even permitted me to park my Tesla right in front of reception for overnight charging, as the cable wouldn’t reach the port from another socket available.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and there is an Appleby's next door so I was able to easily grab food as I arrived a bit late. The "breakfast" should not have been advertised as it was a burrito.
We live in town, but needed to be out of our home for 24 hours (bug spray). The hotel staff was very kind to allow my husband an eleven o'clock check in so he could have a nice, quiet place from which to do his afternoon work.
This is the 3 rd Hampton inn I’ve stayed at. Felt very welcomed and safe with Covid protocol. I also liked their rule of non smoking hotel and no pets. Will definitely use Hampton inn as my hotel of choice plus a Good breakfast
As a wheelchair user, their roll in shower room was generally well executed. The bed was ~24" high. this is fantastic for wheelchair users as the hotel fashion is to have much higher beds, despite the ADA.
Our room is clean and bedsheet are well pressed and fold. Since I booked for 5 person, they provided us an extra folded bed without hesitation. Price is another positive thing on this hotel.
The staff is very professional and very kind. Helped us and changed us of room. They really have been very nice from A to Z. The hotel is close to everything and very easy to access.
Nice quiet hotel close to freeway exit, but not over looking it, on a side street. The bed was excellent and the air conditioner was quiet. Pleasantly surprised for the price.
