I (and we) hate the city of Salem, only reason we were there was because of a convention at the Grand Hotel. Conversations with other guests at the Grand related their stay was less than enjoyable. Your facility was great. We left as soon as we were able.

Home2 by Hilton was wonderful! Front desk people were helpful and very kind, accomodations were excellent!
Patti's cafe for breakfast, by hotel staff recommendations requested was Delightful and Delicious! Staff, atmosphere even music were even more than was promised!
The Carousel on the Waterfront was updated and even better than I remembered from my last visit many years ago! The artistry, history and passion of the people were all Fantastic! A MUST VISIT!

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.

Salem like most Oregon towns goes to bed early. Since we are old that suited us just fine. Beautiful areas to look at Christmas lights. We were out late and early walking our dog and the area was quiet and safe.

We came to Salem to visit the Capitol - and found it under...
We came to Salem to visit the Capitol - and found it under refurbishment so could not be visited (It will be completed in 2026). We did visit the Old Courthouse and found friendly people who answered our questions. Hiking in Silver Falls State Park (45 minutes away) was enjoyable. The Heritage Center was very interesting - and definitely worth investing some time there. We very much enjoyed The Yard with its selection of about 20 food carts to choose from - we ate there both nights of our stay.

To be honest, we booked this hotel to go to In n Out. We do not have one where we live. We always book this hotel to get burgers and let the kids swim. The pool is great, and the front staff were very nice offering pool toys and goggles. My girls love it. They also gave us free breakfast vouchers for Denny's next door. The food was good.

The hotel is located in a quiet and neat neighborood, in a very weel kept building. the interiors are pleasant and overall cleanliness is good. The staff at reception is friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The public spaces were extensive and welcoming. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stop here again.

The location of the hotel is good. Close to highwsy 5.. the breakfast is very good. It wsd nice to see blueberry in breakfast. Loundary is good. Good base to explore Silver falls.
