Lots of room for our whole family - we enjoyed the kitchen, and the dining room was perfect for us to play games. Very comfortable beds, nicely decorated. We loved making sno-cones with the supplies offered. You can tell the owner takes pride in her home.

Well I have a special interest in San Andreas because I lived here int late 50's and 60's It was a great town to live and grow up and attend school in and from what I seen on this trip I have a feeling it still is. During my short stay in San Andreas it did remind me this is not a big city or big town place,But a very interesting town with so much history about the area before the gold strikes and during the gold strikes up to the present. There are a couple museum in the area that i highly recommend to visit where one can get up close to the past. The Old Court Building and Jail house is a must visit place, I did not have time to visit this place but have some great memories of this building as my friends and I used to run through the building playing until office people would come out of their office and tells to keep quiet. I was told this building has become on of the museums int the area.

The check in was at 3, we waited around for hours before getting into the room, even though they knew we needed the room earlier. Town very small and funky. We ate at Subway once, ate all breakfasts at Patio Burgers -- pricey, but bountiful amounts of food. Go early, many retirees are there every day mid-morning. The place serves breakfast all day, super experience. Gateway area to Angels Camp (think Jumping Frogs), Murphys, Calaveras Big Trees.

Great, easy to access location. The hotel manager stayed up until almost midnight, waiting for me to arrive from my long drive. He upgraded me to a newly renovated room on the second floor which was very cute, clean, and spacious. He even gave me a few snacks which was so sweet. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and was very happy with my stay!

This was just a one night stop on our way up Highway 49, so I didn't expect much. The exterior of the hotel is kind of off-putting & not very attractive BUT the rooms are very nice, and clean. The room was about the cheapest we paid on a long trip & we weren't charged for our dog, so it was a plus. It was fine for a night.

Beds & pillows were so comfortable and warm. The shower pressure was soul cleansing and the best we experienced on our trip. Check in was easy, staff are so friendly. One lady offered to help carry our bags downstairs. Fridge and microwave are great if you’re on the road.
