Many families visiting San Diego loved staying at Hotel Marisol Coronado, Crown City Inn Coronado, and Tower 23 Hotel.
The overall environment of San Diego is great. It is a nice place for families with a lot of activities to do. Like SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Sesame Street water park, amongst others. We particularly liked Coronado and La Jolla. The only thing we noticed this time around was that there were a lot more homeless people as well as junkies. But still felt like a safe place to be in.
We enjoyed our time in San Diego. Like any large city, it had positives and negatives, but overall, was a nice place to visit. Interesting cultural spots, decent restaurants, and good public transportation.
We love San Diego we’re here every chance we get cabrillo national park shelter island La Jolla the sunset cliffs mt Soledad Oceanside harbor old town seaport lil Italy we take the ferry to Coronado we visit Chicano park balboa park and there’s still a lot more of San Diego to see and the food is great Phil’s BBQ Mr Birria in Santee Gordon’s tacos coyote cafe old town hunters steak house flillipis pizza domenics Italian rockin baja burritos n fries Kansas bbq Tony’s bar Oceanside
Our Sea World experience was pretty good despite the long line at the entrance. I highly recommend arriving at opening and purchasing the $99 a day tickets that include food. Be advised that any interactive animal experiences are extra. I really enjoyed our trolley tour the next day! I highly recommend this! You really learn about historic San Diego and get to see many highlights of the city. You can get on or off at any stop and see sights such as museums, historic hotels and great shopping. You also will get discounts on restaurants and attractions such as the children's interactive museum.
A beautiful city but unfortunately is going downhill in my opinion....prices up quality down... Turning into another LA like tent City for the homeless.... They should stop charging for parking your car; only deters you from going there and I believe it hurts the businesses....
Everytime i visit SD i go to places I've been before and new places. I absolutely love this city and it's vibe. The people are what makes this city special. Friendly at every turn. The weather is unbeatable and arguably the best in the country. Things to do abound. Friendly and perfect for a family vacation, weekend with friends, or that 2d honeymoon. Beautiful architecture. History. Nightlife. Pristine beaches. This city has it all.
Great location and city! Staff very helpful. I would like to recommend the spot! Manager Rick was super, super helpful. Great service, attentive and friendly. Had answers to all questions! Hotel offers nice heated pool, bikes and other equipment! Beware, no breakfast! But recommend Worlds Famous on the opposite side of the street which is great. We had breakfasts, lunches and dinners over 3 day stay. Great. Btw recommend by Rick:) Great surfer place. And great location for San Diego stay!
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
The location is very good, 20/25 min by foot from the GasLamp quarter and Little Italy (the vivid areas of the city). There is also restaurants around (a good ramen restaurant, empanadas, mexican food...) if you dont wanna walk too much. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the room is spacious enough. Plus comparing the price to the other motels/hotels around, this one is relatively cheap and you have what you would expect.
A magnificent hotel location (harbor view side) with a panorama and most picturesque view of San Diego which includes the downtown cityscape, Coronado Bay Bridge, the bay itself, and a moored aircraft carrier at North Island along with its military helicopters and planes. Also of significance were the presence of a plethora of every type of watercraft, including massive Navy ships transiting the Bay.
Coronado, San Diego
Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. Loved the architecture of the hotel and the pool area was fantastic. Great location as there were lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the beautiful beach was just a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in San Diego again in the future.
I go to San DIego several times a year to visit my brother. We have 3 hotels we usually stay at, this is one. Sometimes we book through Booking sometimes directly with hotels. I usually REALLY love this hotel. The staff is wonderful, the location is great, I love the yoga classes. The kids love the pool, drinks are very good and overall a great place to stay!
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
Motel-like hotel with 3 floors and elevator. The rooms are pretty much standard motel rooms, not very new but spacious and clean. Fair pricing compared to other hotels in San Diego. Everything is pretty straight forward and functional, plain interior, nothing fancy. Parking available in the yard and in a garage below the hotel, at a comparatively fair price.
Having stayed with Extended Stay America numerous times in various cities, I have come to know I will always enjoy a pleasant, clean facility with a small kitchen. This property in San Diego far exceeded my expectations. It starts with a great location on Hotel Circle, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel location was great, we went walking to the pier, found many restaurants in our way and even a farmers market. It's really a great option when traveling to San Diego if you want to relax and hang around little italy. Even finding parking was pretty easy!
The location was central to downtown and the family I was visiting. The price was reasonable. Breakfast was much better than what was offered at the Embassy Suites. This has become the hotel I stay when visiting my family in San Diego.
Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also liked the waffle spot. We like staying in Hotel Circle when we visit San Diego. The price is right at Kings Inn so we were happy we found a great place to stay.
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts, Very central to downtown area, especially Little Italy. Staff very pleasant & obliging. Would stay again if revisiting San Diego in the future
Lovely old style hotel, large comfy rooms, just a one night stop over but wish i could have stayed longer. This is our second stay at this hotel and will continue to use it as our San Diego go to hotel
Overall I found my stay to be very comfortable. The room was very clean and the staff was kind and friendly. I would definitely come back to the Days Inn at Hotel Circle in San Diego.
Coronado, San Diego
Superb location on Coronado island, on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. And the classic architecture and facilities around the hotel were great.
This hotel is not very nice and not very clean but for the price it was perfect. It was a place to sleep and shower right in downtown San Diego.
The price was good for a hotel located so close to Downtown San Diego. The room had good amenities (coffee makes, coffee, fridge, microwave).
The hotel room was very comfortable with a good view of downtown San Diego. Noah at the front desk was very friendly and helpful 🦋
Good location in Downtown San Diego. Hotel is pretty, bed was comfy and bathroom is pretty as well. Everything was clean too
Good location, cl;ose to Gaslamp quarter and San Diego downtown
I liked that I could have a great dinner on the patio. Very relaxing and intimate. After dinner we walked along the marina and enjoyed the peaceful sights of the bay. The breakfast buffet was fabulous.
