The overall environment of San Diego is great. It is a nice place for families with a lot of activities to do. Like SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Sesame Street water park, amongst others. We particularly liked Coronado and La Jolla. The only thing we noticed this time around was that there were a lot more homeless people as well as junkies. But still felt like a safe place to be in.
We enjoyed our time in San Diego. Like any large city, it had positives and negatives, but overall, was a nice place to visit. Interesting cultural spots, decent restaurants, and good public transportation.
We love San Diego we’re here every chance we get cabrillo national park shelter island La Jolla the sunset cliffs mt Soledad Oceanside harbor old town seaport lil Italy we take the ferry to Coronado we visit Chicano park balboa park and there’s still a lot more of San Diego to see and the food is great Phil’s BBQ Mr Birria in Santee Gordon’s tacos coyote cafe old town hunters steak house flillipis pizza domenics Italian rockin baja burritos n fries Kansas bbq Tony’s bar Oceanside
Our Sea World experience was pretty good despite the long line at the entrance. I highly recommend arriving at opening and purchasing the $99 a day tickets that include food. Be advised that any interactive animal experiences are extra. I really enjoyed our trolley tour the next day! I highly recommend this! You really learn about historic San Diego and get to see many highlights of the city. You can get on or off at any stop and see sights such as museums, historic hotels and great shopping. You also will get discounts on restaurants and attractions such as the children's interactive museum.
A beautiful city but unfortunately is going downhill in my opinion....prices up quality down... Turning into another LA like tent City for the homeless.... They should stop charging for parking your car; only deters you from going there and I believe it hurts the businesses....
Everytime i visit SD i go to places I've been before and new places. I absolutely love this city and it's vibe. The people are what makes this city special. Friendly at every turn. The weather is unbeatable and arguably the best in the country. Things to do abound. Friendly and perfect for a family vacation, weekend with friends, or that 2d honeymoon. Beautiful architecture. History. Nightlife. Pristine beaches. This city has it all.
It is close to SeaWorld and far enough away from downtown and hotel circle that you don't feel overwhelmed. There is a private beach that is a plus. It's nice and quiet, and if your room has a view of the public beach, you can watch the SeaWorld fireworks show at night. Each room has a patio type setup with two pool loungers on them that you can relax on and just take in some sun. Front desk staff are very friendly. Parking is really good. You can easily get a spot right in front of your room. I would definitely stay here again.
I stay in San Diego every weekend, since my son is at Rady's Children's Hospital. I have tried three different hotels near the hospital, and this one stands alone. The staff is warm and inviting, the property is impeccably clean, the beds are dreamy, and I love that the location is optimum. Since Hampton Inn isn't part of the Hotel Circle collection, it's more quiet and there are no seedy locations around it. Henceforth, this will be my choice for my weekend trips to San Diego.
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
The location is very good, 20/25 min by foot from the GasLamp quarter and Little Italy (the vivid areas of the city). There is also restaurants around (a good ramen restaurant, empanadas, mexican food...) if you dont wanna walk too much. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the room is spacious enough. Plus comparing the price to the other motels/hotels around, this one is relatively cheap and you have what you would expect.
We have stayed at this Days Inn many times. I always bring 2 young family members with me and we feel safe there. I love the fact that it is in Hotel Circle and easy access to the freeway, close to the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld, and not far from the ocean. We like the microwave, coffee maker, fridge and safe. The room is comfortable and the pool is nice, too. Had a wonderful visit!
Really loved this quaint hotel in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. Our receptionist was super friendly and knowledgeable and that helped make our short stay more fun because she had tons of recommendations. Neat roof top seating. Fun to relax with a bottle of wine. Super old building (1st skyscraper in San Diego built in 1913) but they keep it as updated as possible.
hotel circle is a conviene location to drive to various. areas in San Diego easily. the water pressure in shower was great and hot. very good selection of cable channels with many movie channels. microwave. refrigerator. clean (small) bed. it was the less expensive hotel I could dine in ok area. staff was efficient and personable but stuck to their primary duties.
I go to San DIego several times a year to visit my brother. We have 3 hotels we usually stay at, this is one. Sometimes we book through Booking sometimes directly with hotels. I usually REALLY love this hotel. The staff is wonderful, the location is great, I love the yoga classes. The kids love the pool, drinks are very good and overall a great place to stay!
Fantastic location, walking distance from everywhere in Little Italy (best part of town in San Diego). Check-in was fast. The room was comfortable, not so big, but cozy. Staff were helpful when I reported was Wii was not working properly. I was give a free voucher for breakfast. The hotel was a bit overpriced but, once again, I had a nice stay. Thanks!
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
Great customer service, and overall great value for the price paid! The hostel is situated in Downtown San Diego, within walking distance of the bay and easy access to public transportation. It's worth mentioning that the hotel offers "social nights" which usually involve some sort of (free) meal.
Having stayed with Extended Stay America numerous times in various cities, I have come to know I will always enjoy a pleasant, clean facility with a small kitchen. This property in San Diego far exceeded my expectations. It starts with a great location on Hotel Circle, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms are nice and clean and the hotel is not far away from the beach. The girls at the reception were also very helpful. We stayed most of the time outside of the hotel so we didn't use many of the hotel amenities, all in all it was a nice experience and a good place to stay in San Diego.
Exceptional staff - very friendly and helpful! Great location, right next to Litte Italy - a beatiful district in San Diego and really, really cheap. Great price-performance-ratio! If we go to San Diego again, we'll definitely book this hotel once more :)
The breakfast was great and the ladies that ran it were so friendly. The pool area was nice! We used it everyday! The hotel and area is clean and the staff are personable as well. Great location to get to all of the main San Diego attractions!
Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also liked the waffle spot. We like staying in Hotel Circle when we visit San Diego. The price is right at Kings Inn so we were happy we found a great place to stay.
Point Loma, San Diego
generally the hotel is great, great location. Very pet friendly. Good food. We always stay here when we come to San Diego due the location and it being pet friendly. I prefer their new wing over the old one.
The location, staff and just the feeling of the hotel has left myself and my team with wanting to stay no where else when visiting San Diego.
The hotel is in the heart of Downtown San Diego, very beautiful inside and the rooms are unique. Our room had a cute balcony and a fireplace.
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
Clean property with parking very close to Gaslamp and downtown San Diego.
Great pool and gardens and restaurants have excellent food. Open sky and peace being slightly out of the main town is lovely.
The restaurant and food was excellent. Beautiful view. Wish we had a longer stay than one night
