Many families visiting San Diego loved staying at Hotel Marisol Coronado, Crown City Inn Coronado, and Tower 23 Hotel.
We were in Coronado Del Mar La Jolla Mission Beach as well. Just driving around taking in all the beauty God has created. Drink with and ocean view can’t be surpassed. Sunsets took my breath away. Blessed to have visited. Thank you
Great city with so much to see and do. I was only there for a business conference but I was able to visit old San Diego and also Little Italy. I wish I had the time to explore the beaches and other places.
San Diego has loft projects being built for wealthy people whilst the homelessness all over downtown San Diego and beyond is shameful! California has so many made up taxes where none are for the homeless. Instead of the inappropriately applied, so called, resort tax, there should be a ‘home placement/building for the homeless’ tax! WTF!! Sandy Ego sucks!
San Diego is great. We were there to visit and celebrate with our friends. The Pantai Inn where we booked was a great location but one of the worst places we ever stayed. Very expensive and no service even though we requested room service. Asked for towels & told to hang out wet towels on hangers to dry as there were no towel racks in bathroom. Also no available hangers or place to hang them. I could go on but you get the drift.
The breakfast restaurant were great in La Jolla. The San Diego zoo was very nice had lot’s of shade and was very clean. Little Italy restaurants and food were great. They had music and the atmosphere was very nice.
We had an ocean view room but the windows were so dirty that the view was hard to see well. We asked the staff to correct that issue right after we checked in. It was never done. Since we were paying about double for the ocean view, I was really disappointed in the room. The rest of the facility was great.
Friendly staff. great place with many amenities at a great value. Attractive grounds, Free parking, free wifi, pool, laundry, cable tv. Our 2 queen bed suite had a microwave, mini fridge,a mini kitchen with counter top, sink, and 2 electric stove tops. Location located close to freeway(15 min drive to downtown San Diego), gas station, and shopping center. Also in walking distance to resturants. This is a great place for a family on a budget! You can go to the plaza and just grab food to heat up in your hotel kitchen.
I stay in San Diego every weekend, since my son is at Rady's Children's Hospital. I have tried three different hotels near the hospital, and this one stands alone. The staff is warm and inviting, the property is impeccably clean, the beds are dreamy, and I love that the location is optimum. Since Hampton Inn isn't part of the Hotel Circle collection, it's more quiet and there are no seedy locations around it. Henceforth, this will be my choice for my weekend trips to San Diego.
Great location and city! Staff very helpful. I would like to recommend the spot! Manager Rick was super, super helpful. Great service, attentive and friendly. Had answers to all questions! Hotel offers nice heated pool, bikes and other equipment! Beware, no breakfast! But recommend Worlds Famous on the opposite side of the street which is great. We had breakfasts, lunches and dinners over 3 day stay. Great. Btw recommend by Rick:) Great surfer place. And great location for San Diego stay!
The breakfast was great. There were not enough towels. We only had one face towel and the towels could have been a bit thicker. I am from San Diego and I do know how old Hotel Circle is. I think ALL motels/hotels need a bit more outside maintenance/clean-up. We had a one-bed room and it was adequate: microwave, refrig, coffee maker. I did like the laminate flooring instead of carpeting (much cleaner).
Convenient location; easy in and out. Excellent service from bellman and front desk (Chris). Food availability in the hotel. Close to Gaslamp district, San Diego zoo, Petco stadium and Seaport Village. Amazing view from room. Liked the in room safe and complimentary water daily. Comfortable beds. Pool, deck with ping pong table, fooseball and corn bag toss games.
Really loved this quaint hotel in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. Our receptionist was super friendly and knowledgeable and that helped make our short stay more fun because she had tons of recommendations. Neat roof top seating. Fun to relax with a bottle of wine. Super old building (1st skyscraper in San Diego built in 1913) but they keep it as updated as possible.
This hotel is is located just a few miles from Sea World and numerous beaches! First time in San Diego and we were very pleased with the room! Hotel staff is super nice and friendly. There are picnic benches, 3 pools, and paid parking at the hotel. The Gaslamp District is just a short drive away as well. I’d definitely bring my family here again!
The manager and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt very much at home there. The hotel is conveniently located to some of San Diego's attractions such as Little Italy and Balboa Park, It's close to restaurants. The hotel has some cute sitting areas that are nicely decorated and make it feel homey.
Location good for exploring Gaslamp / downtown San Diego. Loved proximity to Padres ball park - cool place to stay if going to a game with their private entrance from hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Nice of them to suggest parking at the garage next door which was 1/2 price of valet.
This hotel was a true finding! Right in the middle of La Jolla and extremely walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times (even after they close the office). The furniture is new, everything is spotless and the design is classy.
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
The hotel has excellent location - it is right in the center of San Diego, it is easy to get around. There was not too much variety for breakfast but it was ok (cereals, bagels, cream cheese, jam, etc.). The room was clean and quiet (despite the location in downtown San Diego).
The property is located in The Hotel Circle region of San Diego and there are probably 50 other properties in this area. This area is real close to downtown, the beaches, Old Town and is in beautiful Mission Valley. Lots to do and great value for this property.
Very well located in San Diego, right on the Hotel Circle, close to everything. Great food, good drinks selection, large heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Loved that on movie nights they provided us with blankets at the pool.
Downtown San Diego, San Diego
Great location in the middle of the gaslamp quarter in a house that is a historic monument. Perfect to get to the San Diego Convention Center (7 min walk). Room good sized and little kitchen area was well equipped.
Staying at this hotel has been a wonderful experience. Sam was very helpful as has the other desk clerk. I will definitely stay here again. The location is very much convenient to downtown San Diego attractions.
The staff were so nice and helpful. As the hotel is located in the heart of San Diego the it’s great for tourists and those who wish to visit the bustling coffee shops and bars.
Although the San diego Hotel Circle location is beside the I8 Hwy, our room was very quiet. As well helpful staff, good parking and security complemented the location.
Location was excellent- close to San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and a short ride from the airport. Room was clean and comfortable.
hotel located at San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, nice rooftop bar, very friendly staff, easy checkin/checkout
Quality hotel that was close to downtown San Diego, very upscale but casual vibe and nice bar down stairs
