With convenient access to the I-8 freeway, this San Diego, hotel offers rooms and suites with free WiFi. Guests can relax in the on-site outdoor pool and hot tub.

We would like to write a positive feedback about this hotel, as we consider its low rating to be absolutely undeserved. The hotel is clean, located in a quiet place, the staff is responsive, willingly misses any requests. The room is declared by a corporate photo, bed linen, towels are clean, appliances are in good condition, with kitchen and dishes for 20$ deposit. Nice relaxation area with a clean pool and jacuzzi. There were reviews about the poor breakfast, but I would like to note that this breakfast is complimentary and free. That is, you can enjoy fresh, hot waffles with a cup of aromatic coffee (and more) without paying a single cent. Parking for your car will also be free with some deposit. Our conclusion of this place is 10 out of 10, as a result of price/quality.

The Art of Easy Living

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favorite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.

The city’s most recognizable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. As original Spanish mission and first in California, it's has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighborhoods.

The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbor seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.

Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodations encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.

Loved the Seaport Village - so many small shops and great food locations. Highly recommend Edgewater Bar & Grill For breakfast i would go back to Swami's Cafe - fantastic pancakes, the selection of endless coffee was amazing. And the service was awesome. Donut Bar next door is a must for when we go back the size of the donuts!

Great city, steal is $2.50 airport bus to close downtown every few minutes (traffic currently bad returning to airport due to Terminal 1 construction, give a little extra time that direction). Weather nearly always great, city & Bay lively & entertaining, great food options often reasonable. Coronado island great contrast, if you have some time. Pacific side picturesque island beach a 30-40 minute walk or 10 minute bus (also $2.50) from ferry station (pricier $8 / bay ride & the 1 ticket machine on island not working when I was there 11.05.23, had to fast book online with additional small booking fee to catch ferry back). My favorite convention city with all the above and convention center next to the bay and historic Gaslamp District.

I hadnt been to San Diego in over 20 years and was able to sightsee a bit more on this trip albeit we mostly only drove through several areas like Chula Vista and Coronado. Walking around Old Town was great seeing the historic buildings and shops, of which some are still utilized, and learning about the families that resided there, their magnificent homes and businesses. We hesrd the hotel and church were haunted, but they weren't open. La Jolla Cove was the only other area where we got out to walk and view the beach, seals, and seagulls, which were amazing. We didnt get a chance to go to the Safari Zoo, museums,, or shops, but hopefully will get to next tine. We also drove 20 minutes out to Jamul Casino and was in awe of how beautiful and clean it was. Slots were tight so it was a quick visit.

We love San Diego as a destination.

We love San Diego as a destination. La Jolla is especially charming and the oceanside area is stunning. (It was entertaining to watch the seals and their young from the cliffs). We did not swim - however many others did. There are so many restaurants to choose from and most are fantastic. There is a lot of shopping !! La Jolla has a plethora of unique stores that are fun to browse and buy from.

The bed was comfortable and the air-con quiet and efficient. Bird Rock is a particularly nice part of La Jolla, especially if you like Modernist architecture, and there is a bus route immediately outside the hotel to take you North to Village of La Jolla (not to be confused with La Jolla Village) or South to Old Town and San Diego beyond. But you really need a car: this is California so all the distances are huge. There is a supermarket, a bakery and a distinctly ordinary taco shop within five minutes walk.

Location is great if you want to be in downtown San Diego. There is a good coffee shop on the corner and the hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from tons of restaurants and the waterfront. Close to the airport too if you have an early flight, as we did. It was clean and comfortable, I was impressed especially given the price. Staff was super accommodating, allowed us to check in 2 hours early + store our luggage and was super nice about it!

The location is very good, 20/25 min by foot from the GasLamp quarter and Little Italy (the vivid areas of the city). There is also restaurants around (a good ramen restaurant, empanadas, mexican food...) if you dont wanna walk too much. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the room is spacious enough. Plus comparing the price to the other motels/hotels around, this one is relatively cheap and you have what you would expect.

Close to Gaslamp district, San Diego zoo, Petco stadium and Seaport Village. Amazing view from room. Liked the in room safe and complimentary water daily. Comfortable beds. Pool, deck with ping pong table, fooseball and corn bag toss games.

The hotel is very much in keeping with the surrounding area. The Staff on the desk were friendly and very helpful. There was an issue with a drunk at 2 in the morning and security were swift to deal with the situation. The location was perfectly situated for walking around the Old Town area and the location to the trolley made for an easy journey into San Diego.

I live in San Diego and have friends that stay at hotels in Mission Valley/Hotel Circle area. This hotel is super expensive - they charged an extra booking fee at check in. Anything from their "market" was 5x more expensive than other hotel markets/restaurants in the same area. The landscaping and pool was beautiful - good for kids but super expensive!

The hotel is well located in the north of San Diego. The center can be reached with the trolley green lane (although the stop is not so close). The room was large and overall clean, although some maintenance is needed. The swimming pool outside is also nice (but small and during my stay I did not exploit it too much (see below)).

The hotel has excellent location - it is right in the center of San Diego, it is easy to get around. There was not too much variety for breakfast but it was ok (cereals, bagels, cream cheese, jam, etc.). The room was clean and quiet (despite the location in downtown San Diego).
