Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel

Hotel in Point Loma, San Diego

Located only minutes from San Diego International Airport, world-class sailing and whale watching, this hotel offers comfort and modern amenities. This is probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at, and I am only sorry that we didn't have longer to enjoy more of the hotel's facilities. The breakfast was great, but would be improved with more fresh fruit options (berries, melon, etc.). Enjoyed proximity to the marina, and being so close to the airport, as well as being near 24-hr restaurants. Seemed to be a thoughtfully-run hotel that takes pride in providing quality service to guests. Much appreciated :-) .

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

Hotel in Downtown San Diego, San Diego

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is a luxury resort hotel located in Downtown San Diego that features Top of Hyatt Lounge and Bar with a spectacular view 40 stories above San Diego Bay. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect, within walking distance to main places to enjoy San Diego like the Seaport Village, The bay and Gaslamp Quarter. the hotel was also very clean and the view to the bay was amazing. But what was outstanding and the reason why I have no doubt about returning to the hotel was the service. Alfredo and Cinthia were phenomenal at the front desk and went the extra mile to help us solve a small issue in the accommodation. Alejandro, Sammy, Mateo from the restaurant were always there to take care of us at breakfast, especially with our 8-year-old daughter. In one word, all the staff were exceptional.

FAQs about hotels in San Diego

The Art of Easy Living

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favorite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.

The city’s most recognizable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. As original Spanish mission and first in California, it's has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighborhoods.

The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbor seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.

Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodations encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.
