Hotel in Sarasota
Located 20 minutes’ drive from Central Sarasota, this South Florida hotel features an outdoor pool and grab and go breakfast. Guests can lounge at Siesta Key Beach 10 minutes’ drive away. I'm a Gideon (you know, the ones who put Bibles in hotel rooms), and having seen the good, bad, and ugly side of hotels in my own city, this hotel is a great choice for those looking for a place to stay on a budget. The room was clean, everything was in working order, there were no bugs, and the staff were friendly. The location is very convenient and seems quite safe, numerous stores and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel, including but not limited to 7/11, Circle K, Publix, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Beall's, Office Max, Burger King, Waffle House, Applebee's, a mom and pop restaurant called Geckos which is really good, a mom & pop pharmacy, a Chinese restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and some kind of a medical center. The bed was quite comfortable, and the sheets were in good repair. Breakfast includes self serve waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and juice. The internet connection is sufficient to stream HD video and work on online college courses (I'm a college student with a full time job; this trip was work related but I still had to work on my courses). I don't know what the authors of the poor reviews expect from a lower priced hotel considering I've personally seen similarly priced motels in my own city in Florida that had cigarette butts and other garbage in the drawers (where Gideons put the Bibles) because apparently housekeeping never opens them, and this place was pristine compared to those places.

Siesta Beach is Avery nice Beach and sand is white like snow but when you book something like a Dolphin tour make you check it out first they ripped us off and not refund our money back.there is a lot of traffic in the area.would definitely go back.
This is our 2nd visit to Sarasota. Beautiful place with several things to do and see. This visit was purely beach & Siesta Key delivers. They were replenishing Turtle Beach while we were there, so only a small part of that beach was open, but the water was still beautiful. Siesta Key Beach was fully open. The sand is amazing, but the beach is quite wide there, so be prepared to hike quite a distance across that sand to the water. Beautiful facilities there as well. Our first trip included the Ringling Circus Museum. Well worth a visit. Not at all what you expect, beautiful grounds. You may think you know all about the circus, but you don't know what you think you know. Highly recommend.
You drive into this collection of bungalows and rooms and stress melts away. Rabbits potter about and birds sing between your front door and the palm-lined stroll to pristine white sands and picture postcard turquoise waters. Bliss.
Sarasota was beautiful. The beaches are amazing. We went to many beaches while in Sarasota as they are quite close. Plenty of options for dining. We are vegan and we're not disappointed with he options. We drove out to Honeymoon Island State Park and took the ferry to Caladesi Island for $18 pp. Worth every penny.
LOTS of people love Sarasota. And for us, that was the problem. We were there Easter weekend and the crowds and traffic were enormous. Sarasota has an abundance of massive modern apartment buildings, concentrating the population and traffic, even on normal days. The sea water really is emerald color. Very pretty. St Armand's district took "touristy" to a whole 'nother level. Absolutely nothing of "old Florida" is left. Except ---- --- the best surprise for the culture-minded -- the Ringling Art Museum is NOT TO BE MISSED * * * * * ! Yes, you'll see circus memorabilia, all very nice. (Yawn.) But the art collection in the main wing is astonishing -- an exquisite art collection from about 13th to early 20th century. I was astonished. You'll see a great number of beautiful paintings and medieval works you never knew existed. So when you're done with the hordes of sunburnt, and tattooed crowds wandering about, the Ringling Museum is where you want to go if you have a cultured bone in your body.. SEE. IT.
Weather was perfect; sunny, warm and not humid. We saw an Oriole game at Ed Smith stadium which was great and also went to the beautiful beach at Siesta Key. Dinner on the deck at Marina Jack was wonderful.
Sarasota
It’s the cheapest motel. If you want to pay $350-$1,400 a night in Sarasota then you can complain. It was clean wall to wall tile in bathroom, good water pressure. Good size mini fridge. It’s the $29 hotel you want on the interstate but it’s $100 in Sarasota. It’s basic. Nothing more, nothing less. Good location. I’ll stay there again because the rates in town are extremely high. Fortunately I was there Sun &Monday and it wasn’t busy. The TV works just use the input button and select TV
A very welcoming hotel. Mostly impressed with how spacious the public areas felt, with wide corridors with sofas, benches and pictures on the walls, making them feel more like living rooms than corridors. The rooms themselves have a similar feeling, making them "homely" in a way I never experienced outside small hotels. Welcoming staff, and decent breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay, we were in Sarasota to check out the area and it was a little chilly (for FL) so we didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. Our room was perfect for a couple, comfortable, very clean! Staff was friendly and helpful, very close to SRQ airport. I enjoyed the view of planes taking off from the bed!
My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo Sarasota and everything about it was nice . No runs but the showers is lovely. The aesthetic is calming and beautiful. They even have a parking garage for the times when weather was not that great. You can even rent bikes for free! I could go on and on.
Hotel was convenient to the downtown area and was close to the airport. We didn't rent a car, but we were able to walk to 7-eleven and Bayfront Park. Most other attractions were an affordable Lyft ride away. This was a good hotel for an introduction to Sarasota.
I loved Hyatt regency it was clean, great location the balcony view is amazing a lot of my friends want to come to Sarasota and stay at this hotel since I shared some videos. the stuff are always helping and nice. thank you for everything.
Nice hotel in the suburbs near a few restaurants and grocery store. Only 13mins. to downtown Sarasota. The gym was nice and the pool avg. however the staff and room are great.
Sarasota
Office staff GREAT ! CLOSE TO BEACHES, BUT NOT TOO CLOSE (very congested area near beaches, as expected)
