Beautiful central property near the square one mall. The rooms were lovely and big and quiet. And the staff were absolutely exceptional - John was so so helpful when I came early and held my bags til check in and recommended restaurants for take away and I have to say Monica went above and beyond for me in her duties! Always so cheerful and a pleasure to deal with - she is a strong asset to the hotel and helped make my experience a highly positive one and I will definitely be back! Thank you all.

The location was excellent. We were meeting family at Logan Airport and it was so convenient. The room was nice and was certainly good for an overnight stay. The staff was so helpful and full of information.

Broken alarm clock, broken room phone and door latch is broken too. The door doesn’t close behind you, when leaving. You need to reset latch from inside of room. Just before leaving it. I’d told front desk about it. She claimed that was normal thing. Then why NOT place a sticker on doors stating that. It was annoying every time, I’d stepped out. Then more problems was noted of noise from downstairs lobby of EMT’s taking a guest away at 12:30 AM. So slept poorly, then work up late for my day. Because of a broken alarm clock in room. When called on my cellular the next day and asked for late check out to get myself ready to head out. She declared they’re be a charge for that extra request. I’d left in a hurry and was very upset how we were treated as valued customers. I’ll never return there again. DF

Saugus is not very far from Boston and is full of shopping...

Saugus is not very far from Boston and is full of shopping centers and restaurants. Most hotels in the area are medium price range and rather affordable, however, they are also frequented by groups of people who are not very family oriented or family friendly.

I arrived at the hotel yesterday and the receptionist refused to give me the room because I had to pay a deposit with a physical card, and I only had cash and a virtual card. She treated me very badly and wouldn't accept it. I had to sleep in my car because of this! I need my money back, I didn't stay at the hotel, and this was frustrating! The website didn't say that the hotel would require a deposit and that it had to be with a physical card!

This was our first time in Boston. We rented a car from the airport, Holiday Inn had a very good parking, but found out the parking places are quite ecpensive in Boston. So we managed to park in Wellington metro station by an app(!) and visit downtown by metro. To go to whale watching was easy and a wonderful experience from the hotel. Visiting the ocean coast and the small towns like Salem was also wonderful.

Hotel located on the one of main road to Boston, lot of shops/food around. Hotel generally OK, nice and friendly staff, but in general due to some points mentioned below - i'm rather not recommend this hotel. Price was good and wifi was not bad. Parking available.

Room: It was just adequate for 4 adults, and the air control quite good. Breakfast: As we have found in HIE hotels, it is very good. Airport: Access to Logan Airport is good but it was better in earlier days when a regular shuttle was available.
