Lovely comfortable hotel. Our room was huge! A little dated but mostly the bathroom. The bed linen and towels were all lovely. I LOVED the fact that they don't service the room every day unless you ask them to. I am always conscious about the amount of bed linen and towels that get unnecessarily replaced every day. There was a microwave in the room!! Huge bonus as we bought back some takeaway and able to reheat. Fridge and access to an ice machine another Huge bonus! The pool area was so well kept and the pool lovely. I swam every day (for exercise) and my husband was very happy lolling by the side of the pool. The breakfast buffet was really good and another huge bonus was that coffee was available in the lobby area which was great when we had a very early start on checkout. The hotel is right on the edge of the "historic district" (in our view) but an easy walk to the main areas. Absolutely loved Savannah and when we visit again, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

everyone is so friendly and nice. loved both my stays!
The city is great to visit on 2-3 days' time period. Most of the relevant places are walking distance from the river line. I recommend taking a trolley trip and visit the whole city first, and then stop by the more interesting places.
The tour guides were excellent. I’d highly recommend a ghost tour and horse historic cart tour. The food was good, but in my opinion definitely over rated. Nothing was Michelin star. Plenty of choice and places to eat and drink. As a food choice the shrimp is the best choice. Fish is meh! Either not fresh or overcooked. Stick to what you like and you’ll be less disappointed. There’s lots of shops and convenience touristy places to bring take home gifts. I wish there were less poor souls asking for hand outs. Though they were not aggressive or made me feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed my stay and short break in Savannah and it is a place to visit regularly if you live close enough. We’ll be back and do another short stay.
The trolley tours were excellent. We learned so much about the history of the city. The best spots to eat were within short walking distance. I would suggest hopping off the tour and site-seeing more than just riding. Parking is not a fun thing, so park to stay the entire trip, and ride the trolley or walk. The river street was awesome! we saw several huge cargo ships and a luxurious HUGE yacht that was docked. DON'T mess with the "moss", which is actually not real moss. It is a live plant with tons of red bugs..... they are extremely hard to see and are very painful
Great city, but really only need 1-2 days there! Lots of bachelortte parties and open containers, along with many college students. The ghost tour was really interesting, as the city has a lot of history.
Savannah is amazing!! Two days is definitely not enough to see and experience everything! Savannah Seafood Shack was absolutely delicious. I recommend the hop on/hop off trolley....and ride it all the way through once before getting off at any stops. The drivers are so great and informative! Forsyth Park is beautiful as is BonaVenture Cemetery. There are so many restaurants to choose from! Shopping and drinking are endless! Wear your most comfy shoes and explore!
It's a very nice place to visit with lots to see and do. We spent most of the time at River Street and it was great. However, we did see quite a large number of homeless people there. The new Flint Energies area was fantastic with beautiful architecture and exhibits. Really enjoyed that.
Beautiful hotel in traditional building style (both exterior and interior). Room was clean with comfortable bathroom. Early check in made available by the staff at date of arrival. No need for valet parking as public garage on minute walking distance. Centrally located in town of Savannah. Enjoyed the availability of free bottles of water and the wine moment in afternoon.
Coffee is perfect, Tammi and the entire staff love their jobs. Crazy clean hotel and probably the best access to and from I-95 I've seen. Crackel Barrel on one side, IHOP on the other...... Walmart down the road. And the shuttle can be scheduled to pick you up and take you downtown to the historic district. Linda and myself will be back👍Did I say awesome hotel!
Savannah
This is a really attractive hotel, lovely spacious older style room and nicely furnished in period style. Very well equipped, valet parking and reception staff were helpful and friendly. Great place from which to explore Savannah. Close to good restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Very good value. Will stay again when next in Savannah.
Savannah
Our stay was excellent, great location for walking and exploring Savannah. The evening wine time was a real bonus we got to meet our fellow guests which you don’t always do at a regular hotel. Would highly recommend this inn and the fact that parking was free, in a downtown location was an extra bonus. Very pet friendly too.🥰👍
The Downtown Historic district is so beautiful and full of culture and the hotel amplified that feeling. I like how close the hotel is the cities entrance as well. The actual property itself was also great. The design of the pool, courtyard and lounge areas were amazing, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Location was exceptional, being on the river and in the heart of historic downtown. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room itself was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The hotel's decor does a nice job of acknowledging its historic roots in a modernized/renovated hotel.
The breakfast was ok, a couple of products were not available because of COVID restrictions. The room was nice, and the bed very comfortable. The staff was kind an helpful. The location was appropriate and we got to downtown Savannah in 15 minutes and to Tybee in 40 minutes. Plenty of place for free parking.
The room and facilities were clean, the staff friendly and basically a nice place to spend a few nights (avoiding the downtown hotels that are 3/4 times the price). The Lyft/Ubers to/from Savannah are about $10 each way. The pool was nice and we used it several times.
Very friendly welcome. Easy to find. The rooms were nice, Maybe a little bit outdated but clean and comfortable. The hotel is a good starting point for exploring Savannah, because it near the Riverwalk and the City Center. Almost everything is in walking distance.
Savannah
The property was about 15 mins from downtown Savannah. My girlfriend had flowers delivered to the hotel for me on Valentine’s Day, while we were out, the hotel staff put the flowers in our room. Housekeeping staff was great and very helpful.
We really like the central location of the hotel. If you come to Savannah for sightseeing, this Hotel is located really well to go by foot anywhere you would like to in the downtown area. Their valet service was quick and easy.
Savannah
Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past. Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown. Michael was a very welcoming host. Delicious breakfast.
This is a brand new hotel and and about a 10 minute drive from downtown Savannah. It's also located in a safe area. There is an inside pool and they serve hot breakfast daily. We would definitely stay here again.
The location of the hotel. The distance between this hotel and downtown savannah was about 15 minutes which made for easy travel back and forth daily!
