The Christmas Spectacular at the Savannah theater was...

The Christmas Spectacular at the Savannah theater was AMAZING!! A must see! The lobby at the JW Marriott on the river was a must see. (Dino fossils and giant gems) For food we like Zunzi, Collin’s Quarters, Goose Feathers, Pie Society, Maple Street Biscuit, Fire Street Food. Leapold Ice Cream (we got the peppermint chocolate cookie sandwich, and honey almond cream)

The city is great to visit on 2-3 days' time period.

The city is great to visit on 2-3 days' time period. Most of the relevant places are walking distance from the river line. I recommend taking a trolley trip and visit the whole city first, and then stop by the more interesting places.

    The tour guides were excellent.

The tour guides were excellent. I’d highly recommend a ghost tour and horse historic cart tour. The food was good, but in my opinion definitely over rated. Nothing was Michelin star. Plenty of choice and places to eat and drink. As a food choice the shrimp is the best choice. Fish is meh! Either not fresh or overcooked. Stick to what you like and you’ll be less disappointed. There’s lots of shops and convenience touristy places to bring take home gifts. I wish there were less poor souls asking for hand outs. Though they were not aggressive or made me feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed my stay and short break in Savannah and it is a place to visit regularly if you live close enough. We’ll be back and do another short stay.

    The trolley tours were excellent.

The trolley tours were excellent. We learned so much about the history of the city. The best spots to eat were within short walking distance. I would suggest hopping off the tour and site-seeing more than just riding. Parking is not a fun thing, so park to stay the entire trip, and ride the trolley or walk. The river street was awesome! we saw several huge cargo ships and a luxurious HUGE yacht that was docked. DON'T mess with the "moss", which is actually not real moss. It is a live plant with tons of red bugs..... they are extremely hard to see and are very painful

Great city, but really only need 1-2 days there!

Great city, but really only need 1-2 days there! Lots of bachelortte parties and open containers, along with many college students. The ghost tour was really interesting, as the city has a lot of history.

    Savannah is amazing!!

Savannah is amazing!! Two days is definitely not enough to see and experience everything! Savannah Seafood Shack was absolutely delicious. I recommend the hop on/hop off trolley....and ride it all the way through once before getting off at any stops. The drivers are so great and informative! Forsyth Park is beautiful as is BonaVenture Cemetery. There are so many restaurants to choose from! Shopping and drinking are endless! Wear your most comfy shoes and explore!
