The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s worth staying here just for the magical timeless escape. The whole town is amazing with historic buildings everywhere you look. Inside Shaw House Inn I love how everything looks like it’s from a museum but is well maintained and sturdy enough for you to use without fear of breaking anything. It feels extremely inviting and homey. It’s very clean. No mildew smell or dust anywhere. They had nice glasses, cutlery, and china for us to use. We were able to use the dishes and microwave to heat up our left over thanksgiving dinner. Our room allowed dogs and had an amazing heater and bathtub. The mattress and pillows were luxurious! The landscaped yard was super fun, it even had horseshoe for guests to play!

This is an absolutely amazing place! It has 11 bedrooms which are all lovingly decorated in period style with beautiful old furniture. The downstairs is spacious with several lovely rooms for guests to enjoy. Every room has fresh flowers and period decor. The afternoon tea and wine were an added bonus and the breakfast was delicious. In addition, the town of Ferndale is a gem. Don’t miss this place!

Nice, unique and private location a couple minutes walk from the main street in Ferndale. The couple that owns the property were super friendly. Lots of deer, hawks and small birds around the balcony and the atmosphere made this stay on a roadtrip from Seattle to San Diego a perfect resting place.

It's small-town Americana at the Victorian Inn in Ferndale. Innkeepers Lowell and Jenny were exceptional hosts, and made us feel very welcome and at home. The rooms were larger than expected for an old hotel. Our room was upstairs, and there was a nice sitting room on the 2nd floor with a lounge area, games, and a Kerig coffee maker. A grab-and-go breakfast was available in the morning (a great option for those on the go) but they welcomed us to stay and eat in the restaurant/bar.
