The breakfast was definitely a cut above the usual motel breakfast. The staff was super friendly and the location was perfect for exploring Olympic national Park as well as surrounding state parks. It was also walking distance from a few amenities in sequim town centre

What a gem this motel is. I arrived and was greeted by Jimmy, the irrepressible cheerful receptionist/owner. I'm quickly allocated a room, introduced to Lucky, the 14-year-old Black Labrador, and then given a detailed list of all the things there are to do and see in Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula and National Park. Jimmy recommends the 101 Diner next door (and I endorse his recommendation) as a great place to eat. Set back from the road, there is virtually no traffic noise and, with a very comfortable bed, I slept very well. I will definitely be booking a room here if I find myself in the Olympic Peninsula again.

Highly recommend the Olympic Game Farm and the marine center...

Highly recommend the Olympic Game Farm and the marine center on the water front in Port Angles too if you have littles. The pier where the Coho ferry goes over to Canada is in walking distance had great shops, food and an arcade, and there is beach access by tge marine center too. Our littles 2 and 4 years old had a great time.

Beautiful town, lovely people.

Beautiful town, lovely people. I enjoyed walking around and meeting people.I visited the Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm, and the Dugeness Spit Unfortunately, I had car trouble so couldn't get around as much as I wanted to, but was impressed how people were willing to help me. I was referred to Auto Depot on River Road and they fit me in immediately, so I could keep to my travel schedule. They were exceptionally nice. The whole experience of my visit to Sequim was spectacular.

I have always enjoyed Sequim. There's so much to do and see.

I have always enjoyed Sequim. There's so much to do and see. Hurricane Ridge is a must to go see. The wild flowers are in mass during July. The Wildlife Refuge is another must see part of Sequim and of course in July the Lavender Festival is awesome.

I really liked the local downtown, and how friendly the local people are. There are so many beautiful and fun places to see. My trip was short, and I’d like to go back and spend a week there seeing more.

The biggest joy was the Rain Shadow effects.

The biggest joy was the Rain Shadow effects. We enjoyed a fairly clear day without but a sprinkle of rain. As we ventured outside the 15 mile radius , the sky darkened and rain started hitting the windshield. The service we received at restaurants, gas stations, etc was exceptional. People seemed more genuine . All in all a great experience with which we will return again. We ate lunch and breakfast at the OLD Mill and were blown away by the great food and service. For Dinner we ventured over to the Dockside Grill and shared a scrumptious plate of Ale battered halibut, Caesar salad and lemon custard dessert. This was my 70/Birthday that weekend. Totally Enjoyed our visit.

Sequim is such a wonderful crntral location for many things...

Sequim is such a wonderful crntral location for many things to do. You can viist the rain forest or take a ferry to Canada from near by areas. The accomodations are great and there is always something to do.
