Kendall and the staff were incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. A few short steps away from our room was a beautiful deck overlooking Resurrection Bay, and they had heaters and blankets on the patio to help combat the cold. They went above and beyond at breakfast, transportation to / from downtown Seward, and communication. Our bed was very large and comfortable (thank goodness!).

Modern, clean gem at a reasonable Alaskan price in a good location. After spending 10 nights at various nice and one not so nice place, each evening we faced a somewhat feared anticipation. We were so pleased when we opened the door to our LARGE (unit #4), with kitchen and two beds! Modern and clean, I know, I already said that! All the amenities, large flat screen, full size fridge and comfortable bed.
We met two staff, one at check-in and one at check-out, both were fantastic and helpful answering our questions, a pleasure!
Free shuttle stop just a minute or two walk from our room.
Great location, a brief three to five minute walk (or less) to shops, restaurants and the waterfront.
We tried to re-book at Tides for our return cruise but not surprisingly no availability. Much less expensive to the hotels near the marina but still a wonderful location, especially with the FREE shuttle.
Seward is a beautiful and quiet town. It is also a place close to all amazing nature scene which makes it unique. We were there during the celebrations of 4th of July. With the local people together, we watched the firework at midnight and we also watched the Mount Marathon Race which has more 100 years in Seward. We were hiking in Kenai Fjords NP, Kayak paddle on Resurrection Bay and took Rockfish fishing cruise to see the glacier and wildlife. It was a wonderful trip but it is also an expensive trip!

Seward is wonderful and i will come back.
Seward is wonderful and i will come back. I would recommend Seward to others. Recommend Alaska Sea Life Center, Primrose Providions for wine and cheese bisrds, Sweet Darlings for candy and gelato, Firebrand BBQ, Sunny Cove Kayaking, and walking the path along Resurrection Bay. Seward is completely walkable to restaurants, and visitor interests.

Seward is magical!
Seward is magical! Surrounded by stunning mountains and beautiful Resurrection Bay! The most beautiful city on our Alaskan trip! Take the Coastal Classic train to or from Seward for breathtaking views of the stunning scenery and wildlife. Take the Major Marine 8.5 hour whale-watching tour! We saw humpback whales, orcas, dahl porpoises, sea lions, sea otters, puffins, and the Northwestern glacier calf into the bay!

We were on a short trip to see an art exhibit at a wonderful coffee house. We also browsed around the shops and enjoyed a great First Friday Art Walk and dinner at the Flamingo. It was a delightful weekend. Seward has much more to offer for a longer stay. The views of the mountains and the sea are stunning.

Seward is a nice small town.
Seward is a nice small town. We went during the off season. a lot of things where closed or had limited hours during our trip. We missed out on a few items we would have liked to check out but there was still plenty to do in the area. Recommend a wildlife boat tour, we had a blast and still saw a lot of wildlife so early in the year. The Alaska Sea Life Center is a must see any time.
Staff moved us to room on first floor because heating in room third floor could not be turned off. New room no 109 was also in better shaped. Seemed to have been repained recently and heating could be turned off. Also many more tv channels. In first room tv not working properly and only 8 channels . Hotel easily reached from the cruiseschip.
We really enjoyed our stay in this little gem of a hotel. The service they provided before and during our stay was excellent. Outstanding hospitality, great breakfast and amazing views from the dining room across the bay. Sweet room, very cute, quirky, adorable and very comfortable.
