Located on the waterfront of the Seward Small Boat Harbor, Harbor 360 Hotel offers guests stunning 360 degree views of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding Kenai Mountains. Excellent place to stay after roughing it on a cruise. We were lucky enough to be staying with other people (Ex US/CAN/British forces veterans) from all over the place and ended up singing around the fire, drinking bourbon until the early hours! Staying in the yurt was the highlight of our 2 week holiday in Alaska and Canada. The host (Heather) and her husband were exceptional, going the extra mile by booking a discounted excursion for us the next day.

After touring around Alaska my favorite place out of all the towns visited was Seward. Everything about the town, the people, the scenery, the things to do and see were fantastic. If you are not planning a trip to Seward, it is worth the drive from Anchorage!
Seward is beautiful. There is plenty to do and see. We did a Fjord tour and fishing, but we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the other activities. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely go back.
Ididaride of Seward (dog sledding owned by the Seavey family) is a must do! Excellent! Visit with the dogs, including puppies!!!, and have a team of 14 pull you on an overland cart. New appreciation for these dogs! Alaska SeaLife Center is quite nice and a good way to learn about the sea life that you'll see in Alaska. Major Marine's Kenai Fjord's 6 hour trip is also a must do! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so much wildlife, including numerous Orca whales. Highly recommend Major Marine! Seward is a nice, small town also. Easy to walk around and stunning views everywhere.
Seward is quiet in the off season with lots of restaurants either changing their opening hours, or not yet opening and keeping maybe opening to the start of the summer season. We visited before Memorial Day and it was nice and quiet. Lots to do if you’re in the area. We went on a hike of exit glacier, dog sled tour, and a wildlife/glacier cruise. We were also blessed with clear skies, sunny weather and calm seas
We loved Seward!!! It is absolutely gorgeous there!! Great place to relax and rejuvenate. Cute shops. Fun wildlife tours available. We saw a variety of wildlife including eagles, porpoises, humpback whales, sea lions, mountain goats, Corcoran, and gulls. Gorgeous drive from Anchorage into Seward. Kenai Fjord wildlife charter on Resurrection Bay was great!!!
We visited lowell creek waterfall, exit glacier, downtown Seward and drove the loop around Skilak lake. We had signed up for a Fjords national park cruise, but the weather did not cooperate and it got cancelled. We stayed for 2 full days and we were able to see everything. If the cruise had not been cancelled, we probably would have needed another day to do the cruise and to see everything listed above. So you can definitely spend 3 full days here and not get bored. We also spent a couple of hours watching fishermen pull Salmon out of the water left and right, apparently this happens once a year where the salmon are so dense that you can throw in a line with just a hook and pull out a salmon. We were there early September.
Seward
I fell in love with this cabin. The view was amazing. I was looking for quiet Alaska type of accommodation as I didn't want to stay in town/ hotel type of place and this was perfect. Quiet and safe, bed was comfortable and I got a good night sleep. the cabin is so cute and clean. The check and and out was super easy. its very private and if you looking for nice quiet place yet very close to Seward Harbor, Exit Glacier etc this is a perfect place for you.

We were lucky enough to be staying with other people (Ex US/CAN/British forces veterans) from all over the place and ended up singing around the fire, drinking bourbon until the early hours! We stayed at the Spruce Lodge for a few nights while visiting Seward. It was a very clean, updated hotel that had everything we needed. Nice little kitchenette and bathroom with a comfortable bed and mini sofa for a sitting area. The location was easy to get to and in a quiet part of town yet still close to attractions and great hikes! Highly recommend a stay here.
Seward
Small one room cabin a little out side town but a great location. Very clean and simple. Small microwave, coffee pot and TV. Has a great restaurant for evening meals other wish you need to head to town. There is also a lodge with hotel like rooms. We did not see those. The staff was very friendly.
Everything is clean and well-organized. The otter motif appears everywhere and it's cute! :) The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice common area. The surroundings of the hostel are beautiful! Short walk away from the Lost Lake trail. Easy to hitchhike into Seward. Thank you!
Located in downtown Seward this hotel is close to everything. Being an older hotel, there are some drawbacks, but overall we really enjoyed the stay. The manager, George, is a unique individual who does a great job of taking care of the guests!
The hotel is conveniently located in the southern end of Seward, although is about a mile walk to the harbor (but close to the Alaska Sealife Center). The lobby is fun and quirky, but that is where the charm ended.
Seward
The rooms are a very nice value I just like to bring wipes and fever as cause they do have a hotel room smell to them but it’s close to everything in downtown Seward and the staff is lovely !

Seward
There was a variety of breakfast options and Netflix on the tv. The proprietor was quick to respond to all my questions and needs and was very helpful. She even came to the property quickly when she was needed. I'm not sure if I missed it in the information but the room came with a shared kitchen with the other rooms. It was no problem and all the occupants were considerate of each other. It was a great stay. Everything was clean and stocked.
