Love the house! Wonderul location. We had grandparents , babies, kids and adults and the house was perfect for our big family for the week. There was plenty of room for everyone to set comfortably and not be overcrowded.

Nice staff-- newly renovated hotel.

Nice staff-- newly renovated hotel. It's in a great location. However, they have roaches-- I saw 2 in my room; therefore, they should spray and treat the place. The pool doesn't open till Memorial Day, though the weather is nice and hot in April.

This was my first time to this part of coastal North...

This was my first time to this part of coastal North Carolina. I ate dinner at the Inlet View Bar and Grill. Very cool place. This was very close to Holden Beach and it will be nice to return and visit in the summer as it looks as if there is a lot to do there.

It was an okay place to stay at.

It was an okay place to stay at. Our room was a little musty smelling but I just assumed it was from the humidity. The breakfast are was way too small. Only a few tables and trash was overflowing. We sat in the lobby area to eat and then just took our food back to our room.

Besides being so clean, quiet and well staffed.

Besides being so clean, quiet and well staffed. This hotel was located perfectly near the Oak Island / /point ,(their bay meets the ocean) - my favorite beach which is best of 2 worlds). and Ocean Isle beaches - only 10-15 minutes and maybe 20 minutes to Myrtle Beaches. Best seafood restaurants in Ocean Isle - Fish Company and Starkeys on their bay and in Calabash area - Captain Nance’s and Oyster Rock Restaurants!! These 2 NC area beaches are so close to the SC border on the map. Getting around Shallotte area is easy/no traffic to speak of. Enjoy!

Shallotte is a small quaint town.

Shallotte is a small quaint town. Just about everything you need they have . Coffee shops, restaurants, car repair, grocery stores, car wash department stores and home repair stores. Short drive to Holden, Ocean Isle beaches.

no elevator, room had sand on floor, had musty smell and tub didn't have a drain plug. Incorrectly installed chair rail molding in hallway caused an injury to my wife's arm due to leaving a sharp corner at an outside miter joint.

The bed was huge and very comfortable and clean. The facility and our floor was very quiet and we even had our dog with us and others near us also did. The refrigerator was dirty inside and could have been cleaned. My husband went for the breakfast and was satisfied. The hotel is in a great location to Holden Beach. Parking right outside with our own side entrance. Perfect for what we needed for our two night stay. Staff was very friendly. Price is good, also.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Everything would have been fine other than the smell it was awful. The staff took me to 3 different rooms before we found one we could tolerate. Had our stay been more than one night I would have looked for another hotel. I cannot say enough good about the staff, the were wonderful and a pleasure to work with.

Location. Close to restaurants in Sharllotte and only 20 minutes to my business meeting in Little River. SC. Price was better than SC hotels the same distance from my meeting. Breakfast was good.
