We LOVED EVERYTHING!! Exceptionally clean facilities, immaculately cared for property. Friendly people, dog friendly. Comfortable rustic bed. We're on a just retired road trip, stopping at places we've been wanting to go. The glamping tent was PERFECT to be off the grid, no TV, peace and quiet snuggled under blankets listening to the light rain. Woke up to deer outside our door! Enjoyed the dog friendly restaurant a few blocks away, delicious food and homemade dessert.

Very nice place!! It has a nostalgic vibe, I loved it! Very clean rooms, comfy beds. Good WIFI. Parking in front of the room. Possibility to sit outside and relax. Would stay here again!

Clean, good location on the main road but quiet inside. Very helpful host trying her best to solve our problem with Delta Airlines and our lost bag. Shame shame on Delta :-(

Shell was such a pleasant surprise! for a town of 74.

Shell was such a pleasant surprise! for a town of 74. The beautifully renovated Old Shell Store serves great burgers/sandwiches and beers in the evening, coffee and fresh baked pastries in the morning. The Shell Bar is brand new, quite swank for such a small town. They also serve flatbread/pizzas as well as drinks. It is about 30 minutes from Antelope Butte Ski Resort and is a perfect landing spot. The surrounding landscape in incredible. Would love to gatekeep....

The stay exceeded my expectations.

The stay exceeded my expectations. The room was wonderful with very comfortable beds, very clean and easy checkin. Due to our very late arrival, by pre-arrangement, the manager Emily of the Old Shell Store had dinner waiting for us in our room. She made us breakfast burritos the next day for our trip. The extra attention was very much appreciated. The entire stay was great from start to finish. This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.
