Great cabins in a quiet setting despite being near busy road. The whole cabin was exceptionally clean, well equipped with a decent tub, separate shower and a very good bed. I asked for some fresh milk for my tea and in a jiffy it was provided. The newish owners seem to relish dealing with the great unwashed travelling public...something I did in my own hospitality business for 15 years. A credit to them both and also their excellent staff. Our cabin was set slightly away from the others and thus I relaxed naked in the swinging chair whilst supping some local vino and reading in the sunshine. DEEP JOY!

Stevenson is a quaint town with good food and great coffee.

Stevenson is a quaint town with good food and great coffee. Make sure you try The Cabin drive through! We ordered in the drive through but ended up parking and sitting on the benches in the front to enjoy the breathtaking view.

Simple, somewhat clean, and efficient check-in and set up. Stayed there before an early morning of fishing and got the rest I needed for around $100. The shower had remnant soap in it and the coffee maker was left on with burnt coffee in it and the beds were a bit too soft and pillows too hard, but otherwise it got.the job done. Not recommended to bring a wife with higher expectations.

Stevenson is a very cute small town, but as such there...

Stevenson is a very cute small town, but as such there aren't a lot of nearby eating establishments. It has great proximity to Hood River, OR, and all that the city has to offer, which is a lot. We came particularly for Hood River's Fruit Loop, an annual family activity for us.

Enjoyed the view and the quiet of the area parking was crazy and not a very big noticeable sign as to where the place was. Steep gravel incline to go. Up and down and. People just parked wherever. Could easily get blocked in by others. Suggest that there be instructions re various property benefits in the room not just on a QR code as WiFi was very minimal. Requested early check in as we’re coming quite a ways when we initially booked and never heard anything back until day before arrival and the. Told they had people checking out early and wouldn’t able to finish them before 4 pm??? What’s wrong with that statement?? Earlier checkout usually means one can check in earlier if requested. Very confusing and the. Being asked How Was BREAKFAST?? Never informed of any breakfast included. Hopefully will get better with times d once communication is done without having to attempt WiFi or QR codes or internet but ability to read the info in the room

If you are passing thru on Washington SR 14, Stevenson is a...

If you are passing thru on Washington SR 14, Stevenson is a nice town to visit. It is located on the north shore of the Columbia River and has good facilities - supermarket, bank, a few brew-pubs, churches and medical facility if needed too. We ate a couple of times at Red Bluff Brewpub - an unassuming, clean, friendly and well-run establishment with a selection of their own brews to sample.

Zip line, ax throwing, disc golf, golf, all available.

Zip line, ax throwing, disc golf, golf, all available. Walking trails, fire pits and views to die for. Indoor activities for kids such as build a critter. Activities came at a price. Restaurants on site and the town of Stevenson was charming. Hotels rooms were roomy, beds comfortable and views were excellent.

Really enjoyed staying at Skamania Lodge, although we did not make much use of the resort amenities. We spent most of our time hiking and exploring Portland, so the Lodge was just a place to shower and sleep. That being said, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the view was beautiful. We needed to work remotely for a few hours and the downstairs gathering area was perfect!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The bed was an absolute dream. The hot tub outside is so relaxing. Restaurant served amazing food, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
