We went to Stone Mountain Park.
We went to Stone Mountain Park. The 250 Anniversary of America Light Show was great. The kids loved it as much as we did. We ate at the Metro Diner. The food was good and the employees were very polite.
The park was very close and easy to get to.
It was hot but we were able to enjoy the AC in the 4D movie Theater.
We had Attraction tickets and tried to hit everything included. The Train was not running.
We went on a Thursday and not all of the Restaurants in the Park were open.

The staff here respect your privacy but yet they address all of your needs rite away. It's clean and quiet and in a perfect location where everything's in walking distance.the housekeepers are accommodating and clean very hard workin

By early afternoon their soda fountains were out.
By early afternoon their soda fountains were out. Their ice was hard to find. They closed down a lot of the places by 8:00 p.m. Even though the light show started at 9:30. There were ants on the ground where we were sitting for the show. This is the second time we have come here and we are extremely disappointed compared to the first time.

The property was beautiful.
The property was beautiful. My most disappointing experience was the customer service from the desk clerks. They were not welcoming nor friendly at all. I felt like I was bothering them to do their job. Their facial expressions said “I do not want to be bothered.” I understand that it was a huge amount of people there due to a conference, however they wore what they were feeling on their faces and it was definitely nothing good. Maybe they need a refresher course in hospitality and customer service skills.

Unlike the theme parks in Florida, there weren't many people there. That's a good thing. However, there didn't seem to be too many things to do for older kids. We rode in the Sky Lift to the top of the mountain which was pretty cool. We also rode in the train, but that was about it. The problem was that we arrived early afternoon. By 6:00, my two teenagers, 62 year old sister -in-law and 90 year old mother-in-law were exhausted. Nobody wanted to stay for the laser light show which I believed would've been the highlight of our visit to Stone Mountain. That part left me disappointed. My advice, go later in the afternoon.

Dirty and the facility looked as if it were abandoned. I stayed here 8 years ago and it was beautiful. That is why I came back. It is very run down and needs updates and to be cleaned. I think the pictures online were from several years ago.

The room was very big with a nice balcony on the lake.
The hotel has a nice heated indoor pool and hot tub.
The hotel is in the Stone Mountain Park, so great for hiking and for all the attractions around.
Easy parking all around the resort.
