Beautiful setting, mountains in the desert, wonderful walks, warm people and rich spirits. Great restaurants, especially Orlando's. See the Rio Grande gorge and bridge and walk around there. Spectacular setting. Also the Millicent Rogers Museum and gift shop.
The town is nice. The Sagebrush Inn is in need of alot of TLC! THE PLACE IS LITTERALLY FALLING APART!!!!!!!!!! THE FAUCETS, BOTH TUB AND SINK were just about falling off the shower wall, and sink was just as bad! I'm not even kidding! My wife and I rented 2 rooms. 1 was for our 4 teenagers in the same disrepair as our room. The were on the 2nd floor, so each room had a balcony which looked like they hadn't done any spring cleaning, for 100 springs! The owners of sagebrush Inn should be ashamed.
We snowmobiled and skied in Taos Ski Valley. The lessons were excellent. The green slopes were a bit challenging but we had been told that by friends. The restrooms and locker rooms were convenient. The staff and people were friendly.
Taos is a unique place with insanely beautiful scenery and adobe architecture. Its defiantly worth a visit. Unfortunately right now the town looks poor, abandoned, and rundown. Lots of business are closed, people seems unhappy.
Taos is a Thursday through Sunday town. Most restaurants are closed M-W. Great shops and art when open. Short drive to great skiing. Easy to walk the center of town. Absolutely beautiful mountains!
Wonder shops, bars and restaurants, close to Taos Ski Valley Resort. You could stay a week and not be able to soak it all in, The Alley Cantina is a warm, friendly place to have a couple of drinks and play pool. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.
Great breakfast in the pleasant restaurant, in which we also enjoyed an evening meal. Lovely room with fireplace (which we didn't use at it was summer). Clean and tidy. Good location just on the outskirts of Taos - easy to find yet away from the hustle and bustle. It is well used as an events venue and it turns out it has quite an interesting history and has had some celebrity guests, such as Dennis Hopper and Georgia O'Keefe. Excellent value for money considering the quality of the hotel.
Considering the places to stay in Taos, this place is well maintained, clean, staff is helpful, the location is central, and the value is what got me and will continue to get me to stay with them. I don't need to PAY for the Taos experience via my hotel, I just need a reasonable place to stay and that's what this place does, so thank you for that! I am not made of money, and this afforded me and my family a memorable time in Taos.
Taos
Location very quiet. Close to town square. Has a pool and hot tub. Places to sit in the quiet and enjoy the sunset. Owner is attentive and super nice! Hummingbird feeders make for great bird watching and relaxing. Rustic Taos charm. Not new hotel feel. Like an old motor inn that has been renovated. Not fancy, but nice.
what a delight! totally surreal, but functional too. I found hotel Luna mystica on TripAdvisor, wasn’t planning on staying overnight in Taos but couldn’t pass this up. incredibly unique experience to sleep in a very comfortable retro camper. after a day of exploring it was lovely to sit at a campfire and stargaze.

El Pueblo is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. I've stayed many times and will always return when in Taos. All of the staff are always super nice and helpful - front desk, maintenance, breakfast attendant. Great, spacious, clean rooms with super comfy mattresses. The best hotel breakfast ever!
The hotel/B&B was very homey and welcoming, great location (right downtown Taos within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and shops), and the staff was incredible! Our room was beautifully decorated - like a live-in museum, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!
I left my clothes behind and they contacted me before I left Taos. The staff was friendly, and the rooms clean. Was located off the main road. The breakfast was very good when comparing to other hotels I've visited during COVID times.
Perfect place to stay, quiet and comfy rooms. Walk into the Taos Plaza, swim in the pool, Breakfast at Michaels across the road is a ‘must do’ experience. Loved this place!
Beautiful traditional Taos house, in idyllic setting. Lovely host who went of of her way to make our stay as good as possible. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.
Best location in Taos for hotels. Very friendly staff unlike other hotels in Taos. Big cozy clean room. Historic old building with great classic feel.
We were delighted with the hotel's Taos vibe! Great dog friendly atmosphere, nice staff, and nice rooms too.

Taos
This was a beautiful B&B and so cozy. There is a lot of history there and has a lot of rooms. We were surprised by how many people were actually there. Drinking wine in the evening in the back garden was amazing. The staff was SUPER friendly, and the Breakfast was amazing. Read the email with the check-in instructions, we didn't and embarrassed ourselves.
