Hotel in Telluride
Located at the base of the San Juan Mountains in Telluride, Colorado, this boutique hotel features an on-site restaurant and bar. Rooms feature free WiFi. Had a quick stay here! We were passing through and decided to rest up one night- we were very happy with our stay and wished we were there longer. Very walkable to town/restaurants/gondola. Beautiful lobby (we were there around the holidays) with a wide variety of teas/coffee. Room was exceptional and super comfortable! We loved the small balcony and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spa (they let you sign up for a time slot). COVID protocols were followed the entire time. Another highlight was the indoor car parking!!

Located in downtown Telluride, Colorado, this historic hotel is 2 blocks from the Telluride Ski Resort. It features an on-site steak restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The location was great. Easy walking distance to everything. I asked for a quiet room and got one. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. I just got off the town loop bus and realized I lost my camera. I told the front desk person about it and he said he would ask the bus driver about it, the next time the bus stopped. A short while later, I get a call from the front desk saying my camera was found! I was so happy! I think his name is Aaron. The people at the hotel really care about you.

Telluride is a “must see” place. Beautiful little town and a top notch ski resort. However, it is only meant for people with a lot of money. Especially when it comes to lodging, idk if it’s a lack of lodging or if it’s just collusion on pricing, but one night of lodging will cost you more than double or triple what a lift ticket costs. The cost of lodging alone will drive away most tourists and vacationers. The town likes to market itself as a “green town” but most people have to stay hours away and drive there for the day which creates more carbon emissions and leads to more cars in the town. There seriously needs to be affordable lodging options.
Best resort in Colorado. We have skied Vail, Crested Butte, Aspen, Snowmass and Steamboat (we are locals to Western Colorado). Telluride is our favorite place by far. Highly recommend Telluride any time of the year.
We are now visitors though lived in Telluride for 14 years. Far and away it is the most beautiful mountain town in North America When the snow is good there is no better place to ski!. Town has great dining and there are unique options like Alpino Vino and Alreds. Shopping is good Don't forget the summers -- they are spectacular and high alpine meadows are beautiful Though we can now travel anywhere we want to enjoy the mountains be it Winter or Summer. We will continue to make Telluride our destination time and time again.
Telluride is in a beautiful setting. The landscape is fantastic. However, getting there is no fun. Long drive. Recommend flying into Montrose is recommended. The prices are shockingly high, $2.00 for a lime, $40.00 for two cocktails are a couple of examples. However, if you do visit Telluride, be sure to take in the Sheridan House bar and 221 So Oak restaurant.
I loved everything about Telluride. I highly recommend dinning at Allred’s on top of the mountain, make sure there is still sunlight to enjoy the view, request a table by the window and you must take the Gondola to get there, no access by car. I loved the Bear Creek Trail.
Telluride is a small town where you can relax and go around by taking the free shuttle. The gondola to Mountain Village is also free. There are a lot of hiking trails when visiting during the Summer season.
We booked here for one night but we liked it so much we ended up staying 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly located on top of the mountain close to all ski lifts and the free gondola. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. The bed a little too soft though. There is a very nice pool with amazing view. There are plenty of outdoor of activities around. The free gondola is absolutely fantastic and gives you a fabulous view of the town. The town of Telluride is so beautiful and authentic. There are amazing restaurants as well.
Beautiful old hotel in great location in Telluride. We were upgraded to a King room with a view over the main street as it was our honeymoon. The room itself was fantastic, lots of character, comfy, great bathroom. We had breakfast in the Hotel every morning and it was always perfect. The bar next door is also a great spot to have a drink in the evening. Easy walk to the Gondola and everything else that Telluride has to offer.
We were pleasantly surprised by the Mountainside Inn. The suite was larger and better fitted with amenities and space than what the images suggested, and the location was perfect. Very practical with parking, and just a 5-10 min walk to town. We prioritised being close to both the coonskin chairlift and Gondola one (ski in ski out actually ...) but some may want a place closer to city center if that is more important to you.
Telluride
The condo was perfect for an extended stay in Telluride. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean — this has been a disappointment with other property rentals in the past. The location is great, the area is quiet, and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning is a HUGE plus in the “hottest” part of summer.
We tried different breakfast menu items during or 3 day stay and loved every one. The yogurt with granola and fruit was exceptional and the scrambled eggs were really tasty, so was the sausage. We loved ending our day hanging out in the lobby area reading, eating cookies, drinking wine and playing card games.
The front desk gentleman (Doug?) was extremely helpful with ideas of things to do and also provide us a hiking map. He was able to get us a 2 night stay instead of just one, which was amazing! It had said all booked online. The location of the hotel and the restaurant/bar inside the lobby was simply awesome.
Telluride
This hostel is maybe 25 min drive of Telluride but the size of the room the quite of the night is very appreciated. Very good choice for a couple or a family. Good location to continue the trip to Durango!
Telluride
Room was nice and location was convenient for walking downtown (although several places were closed for the off season). Staff was very friendly.
Telluride
This is a beautiful location. The proximity to the gondola made travel back and forth to downtown Telluride. The pool and hottub are nice.
Telluride
Location was near Mountain Village and the gondola to Telluride. Central location.

I don't usually write reviews, however, our experience at the Dunton Town House deserves to be recognized. I was on a mother/daughter road trip, my daughter just got her drivers license, and we spent 2 nights at the Dunton Town House. Kevin, the on-site manager, was wonderful! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and luxurious. The location is perfect for dining, shopping, hiking and the gondola is just down the street. The property, rooms and beds were 5-star. Our Dunton Town House stay was inviting, cozy and convenient.
Professional and friendly staff, excellent location, good breakfast, rooms, valet parking option
