The location was great. Easy walking distance to everything. I asked for a quiet room and got one. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. I just got off the town loop bus and realized I lost my camera. I told the front desk person about it and he said he would ask the bus driver about it, the next time the bus stopped. A short while later, I get a call from the front desk saying my camera was found! I was so happy! I think his name is Aaron. The people at the hotel really care about you.

Telluride is a “must see” place. Beautiful little town and a top notch ski resort. However, it is only meant for people with a lot of money. Especially when it comes to lodging, idk if it’s a lack of lodging or if it’s just collusion on pricing, but one night of lodging will cost you more than double or triple what a lift ticket costs. The cost of lodging alone will drive away most tourists and vacationers. The town likes to market itself as a “green town” but most people have to stay hours away and drive there for the day which creates more carbon emissions and leads to more cars in the town. There seriously needs to be affordable lodging options.
Best resort in Colorado. We have skied Vail, Crested Butte, Aspen, Snowmass and Steamboat (we are locals to Western Colorado). Telluride is our favorite place by far. Highly recommend Telluride any time of the year.
We are now visitors though lived in Telluride for 14 years. Far and away it is the most beautiful mountain town in North America When the snow is good there is no better place to ski!. Town has great dining and there are unique options like Alpino Vino and Alreds. Shopping is good Don't forget the summers -- they are spectacular and high alpine meadows are beautiful Though we can now travel anywhere we want to enjoy the mountains be it Winter or Summer. We will continue to make Telluride our destination time and time again.
Telluride is in a beautiful setting. The landscape is fantastic. However, getting there is no fun. Long drive. Recommend flying into Montrose is recommended. The prices are shockingly high, $2.00 for a lime, $40.00 for two cocktails are a couple of examples. However, if you do visit Telluride, be sure to take in the Sheridan House bar and 221 So Oak restaurant.
I loved everything about Telluride. I highly recommend dinning at Allred’s on top of the mountain, make sure there is still sunlight to enjoy the view, request a table by the window and you must take the Gondola to get there, no access by car. I loved the Bear Creek Trail.
Telluride is a small town where you can relax and go around by taking the free shuttle. The gondola to Mountain Village is also free. There are a lot of hiking trails when visiting during the Summer season.

I have stayed in multiple hostels around Colorado and this one is hands down my favorite! They have a great grab-and-go breakfast where even vegans (like myself) can grab something quick. Their common area is also a great study and workspace with a cozy atmosphere. The beds were also very comfortable. The rooms also come with lockers where you can create your own 4 digit lock code, so no need to purchase a lock from the store.
Location was perfect. It was in walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The gondola system was really nice. You really didn't need your car to get around. If I were going back to Telluride I would definitely stay here again.
Camel's Garden is now our favorite hotel in Telluride. Breakfast was great, staff was great. AND our DOG loved the hotel. Great location for shopping and walking. We aren't skiers but we love the place. We WILL be back.
Telluride
The staff were very helpful . The hotel is situated within walking distance of everything you need, just park the car up until its time to leave. Great views of the mountains. Walking distance to the free lift also.
Excellent place to stay up in the mountain village. It's a 3 minute walk to the free gondola which will take you straight down to town. The room was luxurious and the welcome beer was a nice touch as well!
The location was incredible. The hotel is centrally located on the main strip in Telluride. You can walk out the front door and eat, drink, and shop anywhere in Telluride without having to drive.
We had a large one bedroom apartment. Comfortable bed and plenty of cooking equipment. Easy walk to centre. Very pleasant stay.

Facility and location are gorgeous. Bed was terrible. Worst I’ve ever experienced in any hotel.
Lovely room with balcony . Room service was good. Very near the centre of Telluride.
Location was great! Short walk to the gondola to get easily into downtown Telluride.

Gondola access to Telluride incredible.

I don't usually write reviews, however, our experience at the Dunton Town House deserves to be recognized. I was on a mother/daughter road trip, my daughter just got her drivers license, and we spent 2 nights at the Dunton Town House. Kevin, the on-site manager, was wonderful! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and luxurious. The location is perfect for dining, shopping, hiking and the gondola is just down the street. The property, rooms and beds were 5-star. Our Dunton Town House stay was inviting, cozy and convenient.
Professional and friendly staff, excellent location, good breakfast, rooms, valet parking option
