We stayed at Sequoia Motel for two nights, specifically in the Tokopah room, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! It was such a lovely place to stay during our road trip, and we would absolutely recommend it. One thing we particularly appreciated was how easy and convenient the entire check-in process was. Everything is handled remotely, as there is no staff physically present on the property. Communication takes place through email or messages, depending on where you booked, and we found the whole process very straightforward and well organized. Even without anyone on-site, everything was clearly communicated and thoughtfully arranged. Our room was lovely, with a cozy atmosphere that perfectly matched the national park surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, and although the bathroom was a little small, it was perfectly functional and had everything we needed. Another great convenience was being able to park our car right in front of our room! The location is fantastic. Three Rivers is a charming little town stretching along the main road, with restaurants, coffee shops, and other amenities just a 5–10 minute drive away. Even better, the Ash Mountain Entrance to Sequoia National Park is only about 10 minutes away by car, making this an ideal base for exploring the park. Despite being close to the road, the property was very peaceful and quiet. You might occasionally hear some minor noise from neighboring rooms, such as a door opening or closing, but nothing unusual or particularly disturbing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and genuinely enjoyed everything about this place. Comfortable, convenient, peaceful, and full of character. We would definitely recommend Sequoia Motel to anyone visiting Three Rivers or Sequoia National Park, and we’d happily stay here again!

We loved the unit. Wish we could have stayed longer. The airlines mess up our flight and luckily the next day was open so we were able to stay an extra night. My husband loved the firmness of the bed but I thought it a bit hard. The view was fantastic, the peace and quiet.. except for there bird that kept flying into the window. Maybe a few pieces of blue tape so they know it's a window, lol. The only other comment is that there was no propane in the gas grill. The next time we go or if we know someone going to the sequoia park.. this is where we will be staying. Thank you again for making this a great 20 yr anniversary.

such a beautiful and relaxing stay. we ate at small diner down the road and bought food to cook at the house as well. so easy to get around town to town. we're seniors so for us just taking a scenic ride was awesome.

Perfect place to stay after a good hike at the national park. Room was clean and breakfast was pretty good! Convenient to restaurants and convenience store. Don't expect a high end or 5 start hotel in this area, but if you compare it to all the other places around here, this one earns the 5 star.

The Mexican food restaurant Casa Mendoza has the best food and service. Next d to the restaurant is a small grocery store if you need to pick up some items. I wouldn't go in August because the weather is just too hot. It is just 4 miles from Sequoia national Park. Inside the park the roads are winding with 10 to 20 mile a hour turns but well paved.

Three Rivers is at the gateway to Sequoia N.P. Cozy Cottage was only 20 minutes from Park entrance (the reason for our trip). The small town is quaint and friendly--a 'strip' village along the highway.

This is my first review, but I feel compelled to warn other travelers. The place is completely overpriced with poorly maintained facilities. The room was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere. Worst of all was the noise: the air conditioning and the fridge were unbearable, and I had to turn the AC off just to get some rest. The staff was not welcoming at all. To make things even worse, we found a surprise “amenity fee” added to the bill, which had never been mentioned in the booking details and about which no one informed us. We tried to ask by email and phone why this fee was applied, but never received an answer. Not only that, but they even hung up on us without any explanation and then disconnected the line. Overall, it was a terrible experience for the whole family.
