Of cours Dillion's is a big draw and a short trip down to inverness is what Calafornia's north coast is all about and if you drive north on Hwy 1 it gets even better. The food at the larger resturants was expensive and disapointing, at least the ones we tried. I think the best bet are the smaller out of the way places... especially if you like oysters and clam chowder.

Granted, we came in the off season, so we knew we weren’t going to get the full experience and we’d like to come back at some point. The bakery across the street had coffee and great pastries. The General Store is beautiful! The family who first owned it bought it back in 2021 and they’ve done an incredible job making it stocked with things you might need for your travels and lots of cute things to bring back as souvenirs.

We loved Not A Bank! The old bank aesthetic makes for a unique stay. Plus, the artwork was great and the musical instruments were fun to have around. Tomales and the surrounding area is lovely.

The Hotel/room was imaculate. The staffless approach to hosting was interesting, but instructions were clear and the system worked well. Not sure it is my cup of tea.
