Set in Tubac, Historic Valle Verde Ranch has a garden and BBQ facilities. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Lovely facility with pool, hot tub, and many comfortable spots to relax. You can see how much work Kelly and Nancy have put into this historic site.
Located in Tubac, 22 miles from Green Valley, Casa Paloma B&B has a fitness center and free WiFi. These owners went above and beyond the normal B&B. The breakfasts were excellent, the room was spacious and very comfortable and the amenities provided in room and in the bathroom were top drawer and as complete as we have ever encountered. To top it all off wine was provided by the fireplace in the common room so guests could get to meet one another and share experiences at the end of their busy days.
Located in Tubac in the Arizona region, Peachey Ranch provides accommodations with free private parking. Jim and Tammy were so kind and hospitable. This place really is a gem. Beautiful views and great location to visit Tubac, Nogales and Tumacacori. Short drive to the Anza Trail on the Santa Cruz river.
Located in Green Valley, Canoa Ranch Golf Resort has free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We liked the proximity to Nogales and stayed here after crossing the border. Room was spacious and quiet. There was a balcony with a desert view and best part? Pet friendly. We’ll stay here next time too.
Because of the Covid 19 virus, many of the shops and galleries were closed. However, Tubac is normally a terrific place to visit, explore and enjoy. It is conveniently located for visits to Tucson, Nogales, Mexico and Patagonia.
Elivira's Restaurant and Shelby's Bistro stand out as some of the best places to eat, however, even the Tubac Market was amazing, especially their friendly service and help! The people are wonderful.
Did not get to spend much time in Tubac exploring as I was here for work. My accommodations were excellent, was able to walk to restaurant for dinner and food was excellent. Cute little town, off the path. Highly recommend Soto's Mexican!!
Tubac is a small artist colony that has always marched to its own drummer. There are some cute stores, some ok eateries, some very nice art and friendly people. Tubac and surrounding areas are very close to the Arizona/Mexican border. There exists a fascinating history of how the area was settled, its missions, its culture, etc. One has to be interested in exploring, walking, and learning. Its picturesque and a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Tucson, which is also a pretty small city!
If you are new to Arizona or just visiting Tubac is an enjoyable destination. It offers good dining options and a lot of choices for a stay. If it is SW decor you want, the selection in Tubac is overwhelming. You can't possibly explore all the retail options available. Of course for women, the jewelry selections are numerous and it offers all price points. Don't miss nearby Tumacacori Natl. Monu.
The bed n breakfast was close to shopping, restaurants, hiking close by. If you want to really hike, there's the Madero Canyon & bird watching. The owners were great host & breakfast was always a full breakfast.
The grounds are well kept. We always enjoy Stables.
