GermanyThe spot directly at the rim is extraordinarily great! Also, like the rustic woody style which we experienced few days similarily in Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone in Wyoming as well as 320 Guest Ranch in Gallatin Forest in Montana. One needs to like it but then you are immersed with this fantastic authenticity!
Also, the waiters were just fantastic! Want to highlight Diego Texas at breakfast. So lovely, empathic and warm really caring about my kids and myself to get the ultimate breakfast experience.
Overall: At dinner and breakfast this was exceptional service; close to 5 stars European standard. Quality of food was super, much enjoyed the many veggie - vegan options, and very good value for the money esp. for the kids. It could have been less Chips/Fries, but this is US, so probably more bound to the place :).

Tusayan is one mile outside the South Rim entrance to Grand Canyon National Park, making it the perfect place to stay when visiting GCNP. It is a cute, quiet town that is full of friendly and welcoming people.

Very nice place to stay, in a good location.
Very nice place to stay, in a good location. They have several restaurants in town. We booked a 4 hour van tour with Eric. He is very knowledgeable, nice and very enjoyable.
He had snacks, and lunch provided. It was very enjoyable.

Great spot for traveling to the Grand Canyon.
Great spot for traveling to the Grand Canyon. It offer a relax and convenient place to stay. The town looks well kept and clean overall. The only downside is that the town is small and not offering more options of stores and restaurants.

Central point to visit the grand canyon. Few other activities.
Wouldn't go for lengthy stay unless multiple activities across a few days were arranged.
The maverick helecopters were brilliant ...
Well worth the expense to see the canyon.
We purchased breakfast in the hotel once.

This location is not a walkable neighborhood for any of the hotels sited there. It's simply a strip of hotels along the highway. But it's cheaper than staying at the South Rim. Even then, it's not inexpensive. There is a Starbucks nearby, for food-on-the-go but expect long lines at popular times. Because Tusayan is outside the park gates, there is usually a line to show your park pass, or buy one. During Spring Break week we were in an hour-long line, even with three booths open in order to just get in the park. Bring your patience because parking in the South Rim, and at many of the pull-outs can be very difficult.

This is location is very convenient to the park, and has necessary service like gas, food, coffee, and lodging, plus one or two extras like and IMAX theater with canyon movies. I think the town developed for the sole purpose of providing overflow park lodging

Modest but worth the price. Big room, clean. I always stay in the parks but unfortunately there were no rooms available. But this hotel is literally 10 minutes from the rim of the Grand Canyon. The biggest surprise was the breakfast! We know that free hotel breakfasts are useless. This one was really good and filled us up.

The location of hotel was great to explore the South rim of Grand canyon, it is right next to the shuttle bus stop that takes you into the park if you stay there during the season. There are also several decent restaurants in walking distance. The room is quite basic but it had all necessary for short stay.

Room was great and location ideal for Grand Canyon vists. The only downside was that there was limited dining in the town. so once you eshaust the hotel options you will be limited. Breakfast was busy so best to agree a time in advance. The shop in the hotel was useful

The Red Feather provides all the necessities and a decent level of comfort for a short stay. Friendly staff, free on-site parking. Free coffee. Good location being in the centre of Tusayan and just 15 minutes drive from the Grand Canyon.
