United StatesI often travel with only needing "1-night stays". I appreciate that AmericInn allows that. Location is perfect. Helpful that it is near a restaurant and gas station which are two things I need when traveling back and forth. I also like that you offer a time in the pool for adults only.

Cute little town.
Cute little town. I stayed in VBRO on main street which was quaint and generally quiet. Castle Danger brewery at end of block. I used location as base for visiting Tettagouche, Gooseberry Falls, and other scenic locations. Went mid week to avoid crowds. Pro - less people and traffic. Con - most live music concerts on weekend. Check out the "Tipsy Mosquito" down the street for good food, drinks, live music and great atmosphere.

Two harbors is close to all sorts of hiking and state parks.
Two harbors is close to all sorts of hiking and state parks. It’s an excellent location for those who are going to the north shore to experience the parks and trails. If you are going to just relax and stay in town, it doesn’t offer that much as far as things to do. We also stayed in Grand Marais. If you are wanting to just stay in town on your north shore visit, I’d recommend Grans Marais. If you are going to be outdoors most of your trip at the parks and trails, Two harbors is a good base camp , excellent location.

Two Harbors is in the middle of the peninsula which makes it no more than an hour from everything up there; Lutsen, Canadian border, Ely,...Great area. Hit on Betty's Pies, Joe's Fish House , North Shore Winery

No matter what season you visit Two Harbors and the...
No matter what season you visit Two Harbors and the surrounding North Shores communities, you will find something to see, do, try.
There are notable stops along the north shores between Duluth and Grand Marais that we visited during our July 2025 visit.
You can visit local shops, hike trails, see rushing waterfalls, stop for a coffee, enjoy the sounds of nature, listen to the lapping of the lakefront waves, and so much more.

Two harbors is a pretty neat small down.
Two harbors is a pretty neat small down. Most of the places we went for food were good, but nothing fancy. The view of superior was amazing though. Also only about 25 minutes or so to duluth and a lot cheaper than staying in duluth.

I liked the scenery.The wet weather was a little cool this time of year but the day of sunshine made up for it.We had to walk a distance to get to some good agate hunting,because the beaches with good access are overhunted.Gooseberry Falls was beautiful.

The location of the cottages is exceptional! The view on Lake Superior is truly unique and we enjoyed sitting at the fireplaces along the shore. With a pool, a hot tub, massages, kayak rental and much more, the place offers a variety of great amenities. The place is very quiet but still within a ten-minutes drive to Two Harbors. In terms of location and surroundings, truly a gem!

Everything was very nice at this hotel. The desk attendant, Russ, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He took time to help us find the areas that tourists are looking for. He made our trip very special. Having a mini golf course on property was very nice. A nice grocery nearby was a plus..

First time we stayed at the Larsmont. The grounds are impeccable and the location is beautiful right on the lake. We also had dinner there and it was delicious. The staff at Larsmont and the Ledge were wonderful
