My sister and I had a great four days in Walla Walla and...
My sister and I had a great four days in Walla Walla and definitely will go back. We visited 12 different tasting rooms in downtown. Not only did we try some great wines, but we met some great people. We also ate at several very good restaurants - you have to try the birdnest at Wingman Birdz and Brewz and have breakfast at the Marc in the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel! One of our favorite things was a scavenger hunt downtown that let you learn some historical facts all while walking around and exploring at the same time. Pioneer Park was great for some quiet time and we also enjoyed exploring Fort Walla Walla.

Fabulous city. Great restaurants and everyone friendly. We enjoy wine tasting easy to walk the area near the hotel and easy drive to wineries. We love walking by the golf course to the airport and Mill creek. We also RV and have stayed at many Harvest Hosts. Weather excellent all seasons.

Walla Walla is coming up in the world of wineries and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was The Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen and our favorite wine tasting experiences in town were Mark Ryan and Beekeeper by Abeja. All were within close walking distance.

Seems bigger than the population says.
Seems bigger than the population says. Great legacy,tree lined streets. LOTS of new restaurants including fast food choices. The streets are in the best shape in years. Main street is an award winning street. I do not partake of wine,but there is at least 120 tasting rooms in Walla Walla and the vicinity. Take a drive out in the country !!

So many great wineries and eateries to pick from and enjoy.
So many great wineries and eateries to pick from and enjoy. Excellent dinner at Salted Mill located downtown and fun but challenging golf at Wine Valley Golf Club were two of our favorites. Walla Walla is a fun and friendly place to visit!

If you like to sample wines, this is the place to go.
If you like to sample wines, this is the place to go. Surrounded by rolling hills, vistas, and wineries, Walla Walla is a charming location, perfect for a weekend away. Saffron restaurant is excellent. Red Monkey has the best Walla Walla onion rings. Downtown area has several tasting rooms and some nice little shops. It's a 4+ hour beautiful drive from Seattle.

Reasonable price, good parking. Good a/c. Great view of the surrounding countryside.
Bit run down and in need of decorating though everything worked.
It had a lift, which was useful.
Light basic continental breakfast available in small rather warm breakfast room dominated by loud TV.
We liked Downtown Walla Walla - attractive, up to date and with a buzz. Also interesting location for various sightseeing - natural and historical.
We did not use the swimming pool.

- The best hotel we stayed during our Western Canada+US trip. Definitely recommend. Hotel look more like a boutique hotel.
- Very new, fresh, neat and clean hotel.
- Hotel has nice interior and exterior.
- Rooms are comfortable. Bed superb with high quality satin bed sheets. Shower was good.
- It was quite in the room so we slept very well.
- They have nice common patio area with complimentary tea and coffee.
- Private parking space.

The staff including the owner was on site and willing and happy to help with anything. When we left something behind, I received a text and call. They were so accommodating and had all their bases covered. Would like to recommend to anyone interested in exploring the Walla Walla area
