This place is a dump, all the doors of the building have been forced, inside the room there's no how to lock the door, locks are missing, heater makes a loud metal griding noise, curtains don't close all the way, pillows and blankets yellowish and very old,bathroom is dirty, towels are extremely old, the mattress belongs in the dumpster. Booking. Com should inspect this places before recommending them to customers because both parties if there's a situation none of them help you out, we paid for 3 nights and only endure one, the employee said we will be refunded, but that didn't happen. And no help from booking. Com which was the one that recommended as this unsafe place.

West Jefferson has lots of restaurants and shops to wander around in. The caboose by the library and just behind the downtown shops was a big hit with our five year old. All in a downtown setting that is easily walkable. Very cute. Would love to come again, but stay in a nicer hotel.

West Jefferson is a beautiful small town. lots of cute shops, local food and beers. doesn't take long to get to the blue ridge parkway. grandfather mountain/ boone isn't far. App. ski mountain is about 30 mins you can go skiing or ice skating.

This picturesque town reminds me of what you'd see in a Hallmark movie. It's quaint and beautiful with the mountains as a back drop, especially in the Fall. The people are friendly and we especially enjoyed the Hotel Tavern for brunch.

We love West Jefferson.
We love West Jefferson. Hillbilly Grill is a favorite for breakfast. We were disappointed to find out that 'Tis The Season, one of our favorite shops, had sold out. We also love Christmas Tree shopping in the area.
