Featuring an on-site indoor water park with swimming pools, this Munising hotel has free Wi-Fi and cable TV in every guest room. Scenic Lake Superior is 3 miles away. The front desk lady, Rachel, did a great job. It seemed as though she was the jack of all trades and was there everyday we were, checking in and out guests and helping in the kitchen area in the mornings. She deserves a raise!

I didn't realize Wetmore was so close to Munising. It's very conveniently located to the waterfalls, beaches, water activities that are part of Munising's tourism industry. Wetmore has the gas stations, grocery, hotels needed to keep your vacation fun going without the traffic hassle. Use it as a base and head out each day for your UP fun!

Cute town, beautiful setting and friendly people.
Cute town, beautiful setting and friendly people. We had pasties for dinner and they were excellent. But since we only came for a couple of days to kayak this time... we didn’t have time for anything else. But the surrounding areas are great, like the waterfalls and hikes. Next time we will stay longer and take advantage of the other cool activities.

stayed in the front building,, a little dated but everything worked no problems, saw the new addition on back more money im sure but our room suited our purpose, a little problem at checkin with credit card machine, once again breakfast was a good touch and I left full every morning for our days events...staff excellent, driveway needs work , along with entry doors to our building

This is an above average motel;
This is an above average motel; clean and comfortable in a good location to access local attractions. The 100 foot water slide and pool is great for kids, but shallow water and many children are not inviting for adult swimmers. This is pricey in a high demand area but worth it for a short stay.

Over the July 4th holiday, Wetmore was the closest we could...
Over the July 4th holiday, Wetmore was the closest we could get to Munising and yet it's not that far. We went into Munising for Pictured Rocks cruise, dinner out and walking around the town. There was a miniature golf course next to the hotel that looked quite fun but we did not have time.
