Yosemite Magic "A" is a holiday home located in a private community known as Yosemite West, 22 mi inside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. The place is incredibly clean and well appointed. They had local coffee beans with a roaster and coffee maker, popcorn, teas, and even hot chocolate. The fridge and freezer were also very clean and had an ice maker which was helpful. The house was large with many fireplaces and great big windows. Brand new flooring, tons of recessed lighting, 3 full baths, and easily could have 4 separate bedrooms (we only used/needed the 3 actual bedrooms.) The location couldn’t be beat. We were IN the park, only 35 minutes from glacier point and 35 minutes in the opposite direction to Yosemite valley. (Whereas if you stayed in Yosemite Valley you’ll be only 10 miles the way the crow flies from from Glacier Point, but you have to go around making it an hour drive.) We all slept incredibly well with large, soft beds. They have ceiling fans and very strong plug in fans for every room. There’s extra bedding, and heaters in the bathroom which was nice early in the morning. There were tons of dishes, cups, utensils, etc. The outdoor space is also really nice. The hosts were incredibly communicative and nice. All around a pleasure! All 3 of us said we would definitely stay here again! We truly couldn’t believe our luck in finding this home. Being in the park made the experience.
Yosemite Condominium is a self check-in, self-catering accommodations located inside the gates of Yosemite National Park. Free WiFi access is available, yet undependable due to the remote location. The location was great in terms of proximity to attractions. The condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. We liked the gas fireplace and the grill in the balcony. and having two full bathrooms The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have coffee and tea available. There's an ice machine near the entrance. Owners were very responsive to requests.
Featuring barbecue facilities, Yosemite Magic Studio "B" provides accommodations in Yosemite West with free WiFi and mountain views. Located 7.5 mi from Bruin, the property offers a garden. This place is perfectly situated, and impeccable. Bed was comfortable, heat, hot shower, TV & fireplace worked perfectly. I was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was to cook along with condiments which I had packed but was pleasantly surprised that host thought about that as well. It's a huge advantage to be inside Yosemite, it made things much easier.
Featuring accommodations with a balcony, Yosemite View is located in Yosemite West. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin has everything we need. From the kitchen and towels that we needed for the stay. The temperature of the cabin was perfect. Wasn't too cold and wasn't too hot.
Featuring a spa bath, Birds Eye Vista is set in Yosemite West. The property is 3.7 mi from El Portal and free private parking is featured. The house is very spacious and clean. The management was really awesome. They called me to inform about the tire chains requirement because of a sudden storm. We ended up delay our stay by one day because we didn't want to drive in snow. They gave me a refund for one night even though I didn't even ask for it.
Yosemite West is nicely located near the historic Wawona Hotel for a good drink and a meal, and near Glacier Point for great views of Yosemite Valley and spectacular hiking trails. At only 12 miles from the Valley it provides easy access to all the "must-see" attractions (plus a quick getaway from the crowds in the Valley!) And at 6,000 feet it provides a cool clean-air respite from the heat in the Valley. Yosemite West is surrounded by trees so is very peaceful, quiet and private for evening strolls, but has ample open spaces for amazing star gazing. I enjoy day-hiking the many waterfall trails in the valley and also the longer multi-day back-country treks such as the High Sierra Loop but it is nice to have a comfortable place to return to for a shower and a good night's sleep.
Thin walls, short of kitchen supplies, no wi-fi despite being advertised that there was some; but other than that, a great trip. If traveling in winter, bring chains or cables. No place close to eat dinner, so be prepared to make your own. Closest lodging to Badger Pass. Badger Pass is a very reasonably priced excellent family ski adventure, fun for our 5-year-old, 13-year-old, their mom, and this 67-year-old grandma. Excellent ski instructors.
We went off season so it wasn’t crowded and the weather was clear and warmer than expected. The waterfalls were amazing! Yosemite is peaceful and beautiful. Parking was free and easy to find. The Ahwhanee was a gorgeous place to visit and eat lunch at. (We didn’t stay there but felt welcomed by the staff). Mirror Lake is a hidden gem - easy hike and beautiful reflections for pictures.
Close to Yosemite Valley and Wawona. Comfortable. Warm. Good appliances that work properly. The kitchen is good enough for you to cook for up to eight people. We went in late November when it was at or below freezing at night and we were ok. Clean place and clean towels. Did not have to call to complain about something not working. I would definitely bring my family back.
It was a great place to stay inside the park. It was about 30 to the valley and Glacier Point, which was awesome. Some of our group stayed outside the park and they had a 1-1/2 hour travel just to get to our place and then more to travel to anywhere else in the park. We shopped at the store before entering the park for breakfast and lunch items. We had family functions so we didn't eat dinner in the park, although with COVID and being late in the season, not many places were open. With COVID and being October, no shuttles were running in the park so driving was easy, not too much traffic. We did a lot of hiking, which was amazing!
The house itself is very comfortable and well-equipped, but lacks wifi and cellular signal (we assume that cellular coverage is lacking for the whole village). The internal phone line to the management office was not answered at any time we called, so I'm not sure who we could have reached if we needed help. Communication quality and management support are the major drawback here. In terms of the location, being inside the National Park and very close to the Yosemite Valley is a major advantage. But for the price of the property, and particularly given the lack of communications and service, a hotel room or rental home in another location would have been better value overall.
Very convenient location for Valley access. The cabin was super clean. It was well equipped & comfortable. Owner might make it more clear that this cabin is attached to a much larger home above it. This did not take away from our stay, but might for some. Also, an emphasis on the 55 steps to get to the home might also be emphasized. We are all fit & this was ok, but might be too much for those with children or difficulty climbing. That aside, we really enjoyed our stay & would return.
An individual property on an estate in Yosemite West it was very spacious and secluded. Very clean and had all the facilities and home comforts. The whole family loved staying in the forest and the peace and quiet. It is excellently located for the Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove so you can start your adventures early. The kids loved the hot tub and BBQ and being able to relax on the big comfy sofas at the end of the day.
We liked that all check-in information was provided in an email ahead of time with a map. The house was stocked well with additional extras (coffee, dry creamer, popcorn, hot chocolate, shampoos/conditioner/lotions, blankets) making the home all the more welcoming. Description of the home is accurate.
The layout of the home was very open and spacious. Exceptionally clean and all of the needed items such as coffee, laundry detergent and full kitchen! This has been the best place we stayed in (Air B&B style) over the past four years!
Absolutely beautiful home! Tons of trails bear area as well as Merced river (couple blocks away) Night time balcony views were stunning with beautiful views of the sky. Definitely will be returning
Location close to Yosemite Valley. There was a kitchen with microwave, toaster, oven etc. Laundry room available at the complex. Outdoor bbq on patio good for cooking at home.
The house was very comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen was good (very important for us as we cooked at home) and very warm.
Good location right in the heart of Yosemite West locale. Waking up right in the forest. Good facilities
The location is amazing and the room was very cozy. Felt like home.
location and accommodation.
Location was very convenient. It was inside the park. The extra bedroom, very spacious, modern kitchen appliances. My family had a great time.
The property was very clean. Right in the park very convenient. Spacious enough for four people.
Cool treehouse very close to valley.
