With garden views, El jardin de Eli is located in Cabo Polonio and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. Located in Cabo Polonio, Posada Carmela Cabo Polonio offers beachfront accommodations a few steps from Playa de la Calavera and has facilities like a bar and a terrace. As a first-time visitor to Cabo Polonio and Posada Carmela, I did not know what to expect. The first thing that happened made me absolutely glow: meeting Carmela herself AND her manager, Jonathan--fabulous people! The breakfast served on the back deck was also fabulous: fresh OJ + the best coffee in the world + fruits + homemade bread/jam/butter/cream cheese--such a delight! And Jonathan was always around to bring more coffee, steamed milk, etc. The location of Posada Carmela was terrific! We were directly on the beach (a long and gorgeous stretch of beach), and just beyond the town's center so it was quieter than otherwisde. Only one block from lots of restaurants, bars, and tiendas, although there are no actual "blocks" on this dirt, pedestrian-only road through town. The kind-heartedness of the staff and the location of the posada make this a wonderful option for anyone's stay.
Located in Cabo Polonio, Hostal del Cabo offers beachfront accommodations a few steps from Playa de la Calavera and provides facilities like a garden and barbecue facilities. Located in Cabo Polonio and with Playa de la Calavera reachable within a few steps, Narakan has express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. We stayed in Narakan for 3 nights in January. The location is the best in Cabo Polonio. The staff is very nice and responsive. They will make sure you have all what you need for a perfect vacation. Great atmosphere at night time with a fire and candles outside. Live music every night. Dinner is very good and tasty. We had different food every night.
Featuring a bar and shared lounge, as well as a restaurant, Puertas al Cabo is located in Cabo Polonio. The property has a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organizing tours for guests. Very nice place, very helpful and friendly owner, definitely a recommended accommodation if you're planning a trip to Cabo Polonio.
Offering an on site restaurant and live shows, Lobo Hostel Bar provides comfortable accommodations in Cabo Polonio. the environment that the hostel has. The people who work there are genuinely kind and make you feel comfortable like you would be at home.
Set in a charming “rancho” only a 1-minute walk from Norte Beach, Viejo Lobo offers budget accommodations with sea views. It features a fireplace and common kitchen facilities. Beautiful place in a special village. Good food offering, relaxed vibe and very nice staff. Best location!
We saw this town about 400x on the Travel Channel so we went. It was OK. It is rather expensive for a hippie town if you stay in any of the hotels with bathrooms, and there was a dead seal every 100m or so on the beach. Zero effort was made to remove them, some were in an advanced state of decay. Maybe the locals are not allowed to clean them up because its a park? One was right near the beach entry to our hotel - like we said "oh, go to that dead seal and take a left, thats were we are staying". Also a hippie mom let her kid take a poop in front of the restaurant where we were eating lunch (La Perla - good restaurant!). Right in some rocks where other people later were walking. I assume the area is tidal and it will wash away but this is not a small town, there were a lot of tourists and locals making summer money off the tourists. I hope she is the only one doing this, but I doubt it. I have checked this town off my list and won't be back.
Cabo Polonio is, literally, out of this world, or at least it is a new reality. We loved it!! No paved streets, no cars or noises, fabulous food (especially local fish), good beer, good wine, people who don't judge or criticize, a community of locals who help each other and the tourists, a fantastic and long beach for swimming, shelling, walking. It's slow paced, which we vefry much needed as a respite from our hectic lives at home. In truth, it is the ONLY place, of all the places we've been to around much of the world, that we want to return to.
Getting lost in the night in this small beach town is the best thing you can do. Walking across the huge rocks was an unexpected experience and AMAZING. Being able to see the sunrise in the north beach and then the sunset in the south beach is spectacular. Not to mention the rising of the red moon!
Located right in front of the beach where you can see the sunrise in the ocean. Cosy rooms and hot water all day. The host Maria was awesome and Tata's dinners were amazing. The town is beautiful and everybody gives you great tips. Definitely, Cabo Polonio is a great place to be off the grid, discover yourself and connect with others. In the hostel I felt right at home and had such a great time that there are not enough words to describe it.
We are talking about Cabo Polonio - if you expect 5 Stars superior you better stay in Punta del Este! I love this place and Casita de Mar is what it should be: a little nice „Casita“ perfect for 2 or a couple with child! Fireplace inside, hot shower (!!!) and really friendly hosts!!! Hermoso, lindo - stunning place to be if you want to feel the „spirit“ of Polonio :-) Muchos Gracias
The staff is super welcoming and warm. The hostel is clean and super cute. The food is also awesome. From what I heard from other travelers, the facilities at El Jardin de Eli make it one of the best places to stay in Cabo Polonio - hot showers, electricity and readiness of the staff.
The view is amazing, waking up and eating breakfast in front of the beach is perfect. Also just sitting and relaxing on the porch is very fun. The posada gives out blankets for the cold nights which was perfect for us! Also, the vibe in Cabo Polonio is very special and unique.
I loved my stay at Lobo Hostel Bar, the staff (Alu and Martin) were amazing and made you feel at hone from day one. The hostel has very developed facilities for what you can find in Cabo Polonio and they also offer great food. I hope I can come back soon!!
Unique location, design and mood ... a goodvibes gateway! I appreciated the comfort bed of the double room and the adjacent shared toilet room with sink. Thanks to Mr. Lorenzo for the 5 star hotel check-in.
The staff is great, very good location, and you get a great value for your money. It is cabo polonio, don’t expect luxury, but this hostel offers all the basic things you need and a great vibe.
Very nice place, very helpful and friendly owner, definitely a recommended accommodation if you're planning a trip to Cabo Polonio.
