It's an amazing, charming, very remote place. It's ideal for those who want to disconnect from civilization and spend a couple of lazy days in a very authentic winery. The hosts were exceptional, the breakfast was simple but delicious. The bedroom had AC. You can do small trips to the nearby town Carmelo for dining (NIDO), you can swim in the nearby quarry or visit a super cute historic Colonia. I wish we could stay longer, at least 2 nights.

I had a wonderful stay. The location is truly beautiful – very peaceful, close to nature, yet still convenient for getting around. The surroundings made the stay feel relaxing and special. The rooms were spotless, well-kept, and exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. A big highlight of the stay was the host, Carla. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful with recommendations and support. Her warm hospitality made the experience even better. Overall, this place is perfect for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay in a great location surrounded by nature. I would definitely recommend it and would love to come back again.

Casa del Bosque is a hidden gem in Carmelo. The host is lovely and welcoming. The room is small but allows for minimal food prep like breakfast and maybe something simple just heated up. There is a fridge, which comes in handy for fresh drinks in summer. In any case, we were provided breakfast, which was plenty. The property has a hidden river, 1 min walking from the room, which is delightful.
