Absolutely everything! Food is on another level all together. Whether it is Chinese, Korean or European cuisine, it is with Uzbek touch and it’s the best. Friendly and helpful people. Even the elderly people who barely could walk, ready to assist. Short sentence about this town is ”TASHKENT IS A HIDDEN GEM” Love it, recommend it to all. Bear in mind be respectful just like everywhere else in the world. And treat others the way you would like to be treated. Tashkent is an amazing and rapidly developing city. It is exceptionally green, adorned with numerous old trees that provide ample shade and cooling on hot days. The city is impeccably clean, with well-maintained green spaces that are both beautiful and inviting. Tashkent boasts a rich cultural diversity, where Muslims and non-Muslims coexist peacefully and harmoniously. The new buildings are impressive, with striking exteriors, and the city's lighting is stunning, rivaling the festive displays typically seen in Europe only during Christmas.

Nice city with the best Central Asian cuisine! Try the plov at King Plov or Kamolon cafe, Shashlyk at Chorsu bazzar, Mastava or Manpar soup at Fayz (not far from Airport) and Fired fish at Nihol cafe. You will love it! Discover the city by visiting the Hazrati Imam complex, Minor mosque, Tashkent Tower, Amir Timur Square, and Magic city at night. If you have time, you can go to the Chinorkent which is not far from Tashkent.

If you don't tolerate hot weather, don't go during summer.
If you don't tolerate hot weather, don't go during summer. Great food, historical places, fresh vegetables. But public transport could be chaotic for foreigners. Buy a sim card at the airport and use Yandex or My Taxi app to travel around since it is really affordable.

Tashkent is a beautiful city. Highly recommended to visit once a lifetime. A lot of colorful architecture, delicious food, historic artifacts. You can sightseeing a lot in this city. Mosques, Madrasas, Statues & Monuments, City Parks - all of this are worth to see. Tashkent is great for national-food-oriented visitors. "Milliy Taomlar" (translated as National Foods) cafe are really everywhere. Choose your favorite "Osh" with "Non" and "Achichuk". It will be your best experience in life, I'm sure) My personal list of sights here: Amir Temur Square, Arch of Good and Noble Aspirations, Knyaz Romanovning Saroyi, Museum of the Temurids' History, Palace of International Forums, People Friendship Palace, Hazrat Imam Ensemble, Ko'kaldosh Madrasa, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, Chorsu Market, EcoPark, Tashkent City Park, Magic City Park, Navruz Park
