Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
With delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theater, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvd. Meanwhile, Saigon Center or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in a budget hotel at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodations on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!
Great tourist city. Lots of great activities, fabulous shopping, friendly people. Loved our stay. We did the river dinner cruise, watched the basket show at the Opera House and the water puppet show, took a cyclo ride around the city. Visited the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pink Church. Unfortunately both were not open to the public.
Pizza 4Ps was excellent. Lotteria was terrible. Ben Nge Market had lovely food and drink.
Using Grab was very easy. We linked it to our card and so did not need to pay cash each time.

Ho Chi Minh is an eccelctic City with a mixture of luxury hotels, shops and restaurants, along with the local Vietnamese vibe of street food and markets.
A river boat tour along the Saigon river is a must, as well as a beverage on one of the many rooftop bars overlooking the City - night time is best when it's all lit up.
Try and catch a show at the Saigon Opera House - fantastic old building in the heart of the City!

I paid for a couple of things by credit card and I was told if I paid cash they would give me a discount but when I refused the discount and put the charges on credit card they charged me an additional 3% on top of the regular price. This is dishonest and not right. Also there were cock roaches in the room crawling up and down the walls. Also the A/C did not work very well and my room was over 80 degrees. All in all it was a terrible place to stay and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Heavy traffic. Beware of motorcyclists!
Heavy traffic. Beware of motorcyclists! They want to kill you on or off the street and on pedestrian crossings!
There was a very good restaurant near Ben Thanh market. Specialised in broken rice. Pricing was very good.
Well worth the experience, but note the traffic warning

Great location and impressed with the development of Vietnam...
Great location and impressed with the development of Vietnam since 1975. A lot for locals to be proud of. We visited Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon twice, as well as night bus to Nha Trang (great experience and comfort), Dal Lat and Da Nang before returning to Saigon. Enjoyed all but stand out was seafood buffets and lower prices in Nha Trang, slow pace and very reasonable prices (always negotiate price discounts) in Da Lat and Da Nang/Hoi An tours and sightseeing as well as seafood and local food was great. Amusement parks in Nha Trang and Da Nang - you need to see (impressive). We plan to go back on a future trip. Noisy and smog from 8-10 million motor bikes in Saigon was an eye-opener. Rode as passenger to men's barber and safe return to the hotel. Glad not me driving. Ha

Located right in the city center, District 1, perfect location very close to Ben Thanh market. The hotel is very nice. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is also extremely delicious. Professional staff, they always help me very enthusiastically, highly recommended
Very central location in District 1. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms were very clean but a bit dated. Having said that the hotel was excellent value for the money and would stay there again if in Ho Chi Minh City!
The hotel’s location in district 1 is unheatable. It’s within easy walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, Bitexco Financial Tower, mumerous restaurants and cafes. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient
This is my first stay at Nicecy Boutique Hotel, my impression is that the hotel is very large, located in the heart of District 1, near Ben Thanh market. I will come back and recommend friends to stay here.
