What a night-life, the lights the noise the traffic, it's great to see people out enjoying there life with their families, The Vietnamese people are robust, tough and kind, to watch them in there daily struggle and endure every day is amazing. The food the food the food lol so many places to eat, so much to choose from, do a food tour, you won't regret it.
A city where you will find anything you wish provided you are patient. No real public transport system walk and taxi but most attractions are within the city centre. Very friendly and safe place day and night. Language barrier exist but not an obstacle to your enjoyment.
every bar {almost) district 4 street restaurants, china-town,bui vien street. negotiate & hire(exclusively 4 your whole stay )any guy on a motor scooter( one on every corner)and Man you will have the time of your life
HCMC is a great city. It is active and constantly busy. Traffic is crazy but you adapt once you get the hang of it. There isn't a lot of place to visit for a big city but some places are a must, especially the War Remnants Museum if you have the stomach for it. There are some great places to eat and for shopping go to an outer mall. It is a good walking city as there is always something going on. There are lots of markets but be prepared to bargain. The best way to get around is a Grab car or motorbike. If you take a taxi use Vinasun as it has the best reputation.
There are lots of great cafe, bars and restaurants in the city, tons of great street food too. The city is non-stop so its easy to find something to eat and drink at any time, day or night. You need to watch your belongings very carefully. Do not use your phone in the street and make sure your bag is secure at all times. Pick-pocketing / mugging/ theft of westerners is sadly very, very common.
Big city with crazy fast drivers on either scooters and cars. In 2 days stay we saw 3 accidents on the street and it was quite scary crossing the street. But we love the active life and resource availability. Feels like nothing you can not find there. The night life is holy crazy but too loud music didn't make it better and sellers on the street were sometimes annoying. Cost of living seems to be more expensive than in Hanoi.
Quiet boutique hotel located in the busy and fun district 1. Hotel is in an alley which is makes it a quiet refuge from the noisy city only a corner away. The renovated and larger room and bathroom makes up for the small lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent customer service from Tai, Lihn, Nam and others that really care about you. Tai even walked us across the highly traffic street to get to our restaurant. Appreciated all their recommendations on tours, restaurants, spas and transportation.
We had a long flight from London to Ho Chi Minh City and felt really jetlagged when we arrived. We got to the hotel very early, around 7 am. Check in wasn't until 2 pm but they let us check in at 9:30 am at no extra cost! I was so grateful, we really needed sleep! Thank you! The room was sufficient size, clean and comfortable. The bed was big and comfy. Bathroom was nice and clean. There was a nice little bar on the roof, which is nice to have a little drink at night and watch the city lights!
The staff at Chez Mimosa were absolutely fantastic and welcoming, providing us with comprehensive information about Chez Mimosa and Ho Chi Minh City. Anna organised transport into the city centre for us and even called restaurants we wanted to go to to check their availability. The hotel room itself was clean, well-presented, and while the downstairs appeared a little shabby, the room itself was an escape from the busy streets.
Very comfortable bed. Very clean hotel with attentive staff. Breakfast had ample choice and was good quality produce. At the edge of District 1 but walking distance to city centre. Exceptional value for money with x2 spa treatments a day in the package.
Good breakfast, fantastic location in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. I love the poolside which is stunning. The rooms are bright and bed is firm and comfy. I love staying in a heritage hotel that has a beautiful architecture facade.
Lovely little hotel! And very welcoming and helpful staff who helped us out with a map and places to visit during our time in Ho chi Minh City. Would definitely recommend breakfast was ok but nice setting on the rooftop.
Hotel in the middle of city ( near Ben Thanh market, Bitexco, Takashimaya) with lovely room and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. They provide 5 stars service at reasonable price. Definitely will come back again.
District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
If you want to know which hotel is the best in Ho Chi Minh City, you should try this hotel. I've stayed in her already, the location so good, and the hotel's staff so lovely. I will be back once more again.
District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
New hotel with all the modern facilities, the bedroom so comfort, I like to stay this hotel. Located in the city center so this is the good choosing when stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Good location in central area of Ho Chi Minh City. Convenient travelling, a few minutes walking to Tao Dan park.
It was one of the best hotels that I have been to! It honestly exceeded our expectations. I have a lot of good things to say about this hotel! Let's begin with the staff. Sunland hotel's staff was kind enough to help us when our friend lost her phone (which was returned to us thanks to their very thoughtful front desk personel). They also remind us to keep safe whenever we go out and stroll the city. They also gave us tips on where to go and what to eat. They were the nicest and I couldn't be thankful enough for their hospitality. Next is the food. Wow oh wow! Sunland Hotel's breakfast buffet was the bomb dot com! The buffet had varieties of food which would make any guest around the world happy! They had a wide selection of food, from Western to Asian to Middle Eastern. The view while eating was spectacular. It made me love breakfast more. The Ho Chi Minh skyline was so beautiful. Then we will move on to the rooms, the room was cozy enough that we had a good night's sleep. It was very comfortable and you cannot hear any noises outside since the hotel is not near the bustling Ho Chi Minh street. They replaced towels and other toiletries everyday. Not to mention, the rooms was superbly clean. As for the facilities and amenities, they offered us to swim for free even though we aren't checked in anymore, which was so cool! They also offered us to try the sauna but unfortunately, we didn't try due to our schedule. But I bet it's a must when you check in Sunland Hotel. The hotel location is excellent because it is near almost everything! There are also a lot of stalls outside that sell fruits, Pho, and the famous Vietnamese Coffee (THE BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE WAS NEAR THE HOTEL). All in all the experience was just amazing. I wish could return to Ho Chi Minh with my friends so that they could experience what I had when I was there. Thank you, Sunland Hotel! This trip was for the books!
The Japanese toilets are so wonderful and staff are always willing to help. Second time here so I obviously like it. Room is also soundproofed so I didn’t hear traffic noises which is important to me as I am a light sleeper
We were extremely happy with the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Perfect choice if you are planning to stay in District 2. Beautiful view and great choice of breakfast.
The place is extremely clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly. Further to that the location are great. Rooms are good for couple. Highly recommended.
The fact that this escape is very close to Central HCMC. It ticks all the boxes of a resort but without the hassle of getting there!
Honestly, this was perhaps the best hotel I stayed at in Vietnam. Everything was good. very good service. Excellent breakfast.
Fabulous hotel. Not in the center but if you like a little quiet in one of the newest, best hotels in town then this is it.
Amazing view from the 66th floor, brand new interior, modest, elegant luxury, very respectful staff attitude
Location is the best. Staff are extremely nice. And the service is excellent
