New hotel a few steps away from the lake. Nicely appointed rooms where everything works and the installation and layout makes sense. With desk and chair and wardrobe, and a covered rooftop where the laundry quickly dries. Quiet and comfortable with plenty of fresh air. We just returned from an amazing stay at Dancasa Horse Farm, and it was nothing short of fabulous. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who truly made us feel like part of their family. Their kindness, helpfulness, and deep knowledge of the land, animals, and local culture added so much. The food was delicious, the animals were healthy and happy, and the atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. A highlight for us was watching the owners gently help our daughter overcome her fear and confidently ride a horse—something she’ll never forget. If you’re wondering about swimming—there’s a stunning, crystal-clear waterhole just a 10-minute walk away. After living and traveling around Vietnam for 4 years, this was one of our favourite places! A beautiful setting on a lake with cute little chalet style accommodation. The rooms were clean and comfortable with AC and private bathrooms. The restaurant had some tasty dishes like the ethnic chicken and beef salad. The manager was very friendly and spoke perfect English to help us with all our needs.

Amazing place hidden in farmers land. The road to the homestay (from Da Lat) was fantastic. No tourists in sight and the attraction there was me since locals were looking confused to see a tourist driving through their area. In many occasions greeted with a wave or hello. The garden is very beautiful and the owner was very nice. Upon my late arrival, diner was made (not included) and it was very generous. We drinked some beers together and some home made shots before I went to bed. Breakfast was fine. Fresh bread brought by his wife and eggs made by his cousin. Coffee, water and some lettuce.

The place is in a residential area so it’s quiet. Be prepared to expect a very basic and simple place. This is really an extension of their own home and the host is having another full time job. We visited during the Lunar New Year when it was not easy to find dinners outside and the host was kind enough to invite us to join her family’s dinner at a modest charge.
