Superb 3 room modern "hotel" on a lovely manicured farm just outside Bloemfontein. Not far off the main N1 highway but far enough so you don't hear traffic. Just outside of the town for a more relaxed stay but within easy reach if needed. We just stayed overnight but with horses, quad bikes, kids play area etc its worth a longer stay. We have already booked there for our next trip and have taken the whole place which is great from a Covid perspective.

This place, as it's name states, is a true gem in Bloemfontein. What a lovely garden and room. I loved the small kitchenette and the tranquil environment. The hosts bring true Free State hospitality to your doorstep. Excellent location in a short driving distance to the University, nearby shopping malls and the CBD. I will return whenever I have business in Bloemfontein or need a stop over for me and my husband on trips to the Western Cape.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our breakfast left nothing to be desired. Everything is freshly prepared - very delicious. The Guesthouse is extremely well maintained, very clean and very, very lovingly decorated. The guest house is on the outskirts of Bloemfontein. About 1.5 km away is a small mall where you can also find a selection of restaurants. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Exceptional accommodation. Everything I needed was available including the little things, like some fresh milk in the fridge. Great heater, electric blankets, warm duvets with very clean and new sheets. Large fridge. Good TV with full DSTV. Many plug points with 2-pin options. Good security. Very happy and look forward to coming back next visit to BLoemfontein.

The gardens and surrounds of Cherry Lane were beautiful and well maintained. The room was comfortable, with modern furnishings and everything you need for self catering. It was so peaceful and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with our last minute booking. Would definitely recommend as a quiet place to stay close to Bloemfontein.

Andries is sweet and welcoming. It's his home too and he makes it his mission to make sure that you feel like part of the family. Even the dog is welcoming. I have found the only place to stay at when in Bloemfontein.

In Bloem exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were tastefully decorated and fitted with comfort in mind. The staff are warm and friendly - definitely adding this spot to our list for future stays in Bloemfontein.

This is our favourite hotel in Bloemfontein - beautiful venue, food is excellent, staff are wonderful. We were upgraded to a huge suite without asking. We don’t stay anywhere else.

This hotel was a pleasant experience in the heart of Bloemfontein. The hotel has safe parking and an entrance into the shopping centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
