I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Facilities, location were percent for my trip, the highlight had to be the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel relaxed and nothing was a problem. My trip was about spending time with family and we create some very special memories.
I am from Cape Town so Constania isn't exactly a typical getaway for me. However, it offers nature and greenery in the city which makes it a great place to escape if you need some time away and have some extra money to spare.
Constantia is a neat and quiet neighborhood. It is close to restaurants and shops. It is also close to the highway which makes travelling easier. It just a short drive to the beach, whether you want to go to Muizenberg or Hout Bay.
Really nice well maintained suburb of Cape Town. It provides good access to both Cape Town, the coastal resorts and the vineyards. Its a great base. There are good restaurants Groote Constantia (which is also a vineyard was one of our favourites.
We absolutely love it, it is the closest wine area to Cape Town, and we live in Franschhoek part time, though we are British. Along with Wynberg we love the sophistication, shops, restaurants, vineyards, and yet you feel you are out of the City rush.
We have visited Constantia several times as well as Hermanus, Cape Town and Franschoek and travelled the Garden Route, but Constantia has always been the highlight! It’s a good idea to hire a car which makes getting around easier and driving is fine, with uncrowned roads and they drive on the left like the UK. Wineries often have good restaurants or if you like something simpler there are good fish restaurants at Hout Bay right on the waterfront where you can watch seals frolicking as you eat.
