This place is an absolute gem in a remote and very beautiful valley. It was definitely a great experience to stay here for a night on my way to the Karoo. One of the most beautiful places I stayed at in South Africa.

The hotel isn't much out of ordinary, but the hospitality & helpfulness of manager Regi, made our short stay in Uniondale memorable and pleasant. The breakfast was great as well.

Bella Manga Country Escape is surrounded by the Tsitsikamma Mountains. It features 2 large outdoor pools. Plettenberg Bay with its beaches is a 20-minute drive away.

We had such a lovely stay at Mountain Pastures Game Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was absolutely perfect – beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s rest on very complete beds. It was a very cold winter’s day, but we kept cozy with a crackling fire in the fireplace and the added comfort of electric blankets that made our beds wonderfully warm. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding fresh milk and some delicious rusks waiting for us in the kitchen. One of the highlights was spending time in the guest lounge, where we were able to chat and get to know other guests – such a lovely touch that made the experience feel personal and homely. All in all, it was a memorable stay in a beautiful setting, and we would gladly recommend Mountain Pastures Game Lodge to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful getaway.
