The whole Hotel is like a Paradise! The room was very nice and clean. The dinner served in a wonderful atmosphere was excellent. Also the breakfast was very good. On top the host and his team were outstanding friendly and supportive.

Emily & Josh hosts were a pleasure, sincere, awesome, lovely & welcoming couple, so thoughtful, kind & friendly and who went the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need to feel at home. Liked all, as fantastic, well equipped, efficiently organised, spacious, airy, light, comfy, practical, many personal touches beautiful, private home stay experience. The big bedroom with fan, big bed, comfy cotton bedding, blankets, chair, side tables & lamps, big screen tv with free netflix movies, free wifi was enjoyed. Useful Kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, gas plate, backup battery & light to charge devices, various cutlery, knife, scissors, tin/bottle opener, big sink, cleaning/dry materials, complementary chocolate bar & cappuccinos, tea, coffee, pot, pan, plates, bowls, glasses, big mugs. The Bathroom is big, a couple size power shower big head & high water pressure, hot water, suplled soap, hooks & towels, floor mat, basin with plenty shelf storage, toilet & paper, full length miror. The big verandah with table, chairs to relax, enjoy the beautiful, private garden & fresh air, a braai facility. Friendly, lovable small dogs an unexpected bonus. independent, secure remote control gate access with a garage to park the car undercover. Convenient and quiet location close to all local shops, restaurants, attractions in Howick. Suggest an air conitioner as Howick is very hot & humid. We immensely enjoyed the lovely Hosts and highly recommend their amazing independent, private holiday home for a pleasant, refreshing stay.

Its a beautiful place, very relaxing and also lots to do.

Its a beautiful place, very relaxing and also lots to do. The meanders were great and the Klarkloof trails. Wow they were tough but stunning. The old mushroom farm was very interesting and a lot of other places on the routes.

Howick has just blossomed.

Howick has just blossomed. Beautiful little coffee shops - craft and arty places abound along the Midlands Meander. The town is clean with a new Checkers Center which is a boon. Lovely restaurants and a wonderful English-farmy feel throughout. The Falls are an obvious attraction too!

Keen to visit town where the mayor and his staff have made such a difference. A joy to see evidence of thriving businesses, clean environs - and where things seem to work. The Howick Falls and the Mandela Capture site - not to be missed

A lovely peacefull, clean and neat town in nestled amidst...

A lovely peacefull, clean and neat town in nestled amidst the Midlands Meander. A variety of shops, supermarkets and medical facilities. The town and its residents are friendly and we felt very safe during our stay and travelling around. Good food and good service.

We havn't been in the area for about 2 years and the town...

We havn't been in the area for about 2 years and the town and surrounds have been very well upgraded.The town is so clean. We visited the falls - very safe and clean again. Also the museum - we will go back as we only had 20 minutes and could have spent longer there! Also had a lovely breakfast at one of the many really lovely spots in the town - Will be back!

Bierfassl for meals, especially their Eisbein.

Bierfassl for meals, especially their Eisbein. Piggly Wiggly for a wide variety of goods. Chocolate haven. Lakeview Cottage for the best ever accommodation. There are just too many to mention. Culamoya Chimes is just such a pleasure to visit. I always bring at least 1 chime home.

Aloe garden cottage is in a lovely part of Howick. It has a private, secure entrance and parking space, with electric gate. The cottage is nicely decorated and small kitchen well equipped for the size. Comfortable bed, with good linen. Wonderful good sized bathroom, with a large walk in shower. Really private and not overlooked. The garden is spacious and well maintained. Outdoor furniture and BBQ (braai). Teagan was really accommodating as we arrived a bit late on our first day, as our flight was delayed.

We stayed at The Snuggery Cottage in Howick on 11 October and had such a lovely experience. Our hostess gave us a warm welcome and immediately made us feel at home. The cottage was cozy, neat, and spotless, with thoughtful touches everywhere — from fresh flowers and candles to a nice selection of coffees. Those little details really made our stay special. I would gladly recommend The Snuggery Cottage to any traveller looking for a comfortable and welcoming overnight stop.

When we looked on booking.com for somewhere to spend the night on our journey through to CT, we decided on Howick and thought Cooper Cottage would be fine for a simple 1 night stay. What a surprise when we got there - it's lovely! Simple yet modern, bright, clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous little landscaped garden that's fully private, a garage to park in, and secure. A great find!

I was traveling to howick for an event and there was no electricity at the Venue on the specific day. I contacted Peter and he assisted me , he allowed me to bring my trailer and connect it at his place. Im very grateful for his hospitality and going that extra mile.
